The food is okay but the service was great and the atmosphere is most likely what you will come here for. The menu is very simple and there is not a whole lot of beverage options. Keep in mind, most places on the river don’t have a full blown indoor kitchen or bar so they are not a fully functioning kitchen. If you come here it is most definitely to take in the views of the city from the river walk and grab a snack. They do serve sweet potato fries which is a big win in my book for bar food.

The outside patio atmosphere is fantastic, the food,…not so much! Really salty burgers and the tomato mozzarella baguette was so dry and tasteless I only ate half. Just toasting the baguette would have helped but that seems like more effort than what this restaurant can handle. They don’t serve water with the meal unless you’d like to buy a bottle of water. The side salad I had was a handful of greens and one tomato. For the price, you should skip this place.

Food prices were high, but we expected that with a location on the River. What we didn’t expect was for the food to be literally tossed onto our table by the waiter on paper plates. Yes, paper plates! A cob salad, at the cost of $18 was still in the plastic container it had been bought in. Served with a packet of Newman’s ranch and plastic utensils. We saw the same salad at the deli in the Palmer Hotel a day later for $9.50. All that was missing from the cob salad served at O’Briens was the lid that fitter the container. We also had two chicken sliders, one on a bun and one on a piece of lettuce. Tasty, but not worth the money or the paper plate it was served on. Wine came in a plastic cup. What a waste! And that in a time we are all trying to be environmentally friendly. Can’t recommend this place. They give you the impression of a decent restaurant, and charge accordingly, but they are basically serving deli and truck food on paper plates.

Nice river walk. With so many places to eat/drink at I will not be here again. 2 reasons. The service was very slow and annoyingly absent. I finally got tired of waiting for my bill and walked over to the waiter and put cash in his hand and walked away. 2nd reason I won’t be back is the wine was served in a plastic cup. That’s a big turn off for me. It’s understandable if I was near a pool or area of barefoot traffic but I see no reason for serving in plastic. I didn’t eat.

We arrived early afternoon with multiple tables empty on the patio and asked the hostess for a table of two. All the empty tables were apparently reserved so we thanked her and continued down the path in search of somewhere else. However as they had another entrance and host stand I asked them for a table and we were promptly seated.

This is the WORST RESTAURANT EVERR!!! So expensive and the food is nasty, even McDonald’s could do better. They forgot my dads order, didn’t clean up the table, the cheapest drink is 3.50 no refills and comes in a tiny plastic cup, all the plates, and menus are paper. My cousin got a salad for 8 bucks it was lettuce with tomato and it was in a paper cup that was very small (it looked like the cups you would eat gelato from.)

Got seated very quickly for dinner. Took a VERY long time get see the waitress and even longer for the drinks and food to arrive. Waitress was very inattentive. I ordered a burger cooked medium and it came out well done. Food tasted good. Portions were fairly small for the price. We will likely not return again.

Great spot for hanging out, wonderful river view and shaded with umbrellas and trees. Food and drinks were not good. We got steak sandwiches ordered Medium rare and the thin pieces of meat came out beyond well-done and not edible. Fries were good.
