They use Slagel Farms beef and fry their fries in tallow. Hands down the best small burger joint out there in Chicago, and I’ve eaten a lot of burgers. The quality for cost is outstanding. Owner really cares.

They use fresh handmade patties to make your burgers. There Krispy and juicy and delicious. I imagine smashburger must have gotten their idea from them, LOL. The French fries are good but I would stay away from the chili tamales.

In my opinion, the best place for a hot dog, or cheeseburger. Every sandwich includes fries, I’d highly recommend this place. Especially if you’re going to the United Center for a bulls/Blackhawks, or concert to get a quick bite. You won’t be disappointed. Also cash only!! Enjoy!
