When they first opened, Off the Hook was a great place to eat. Large portions of delicious food at a great price. Over the years, the prices have gone up, the portions are much smaller, and the quality is just so-so. My wife and I ate there this afternoon, and the great food taste is just a fading memory. My Fettuccine Alfredo dish had a puddle of water in the bottom, the taste was bland, and the portion size for an entree was only a little larger than a side order at other restaurants. My wife ordered popcorn chicken, but it was nearly too crispy. It’s a shame to see a decline like this in a once-great restaurant, knowing they should still be able to deliver great food at a great price.

Fish tasted like something I get from walmarts freezer, very bland. Felt like I was eating food from a grade school cafeteria. The fries were clearly cooked in the the same vat as the fish.

Food was good but they talked me into the all you can eat and failed to mention after you can’t get a to go box after I spent $40 on two meals. So they throw this extra food at me and take 10 minutes to bring it back out and by then I’m getting full from my first plate but can’t take it with me so they can just throw it away.

Went for Mothers day lunch and the service was terrible. Had to wait twenty minutes to get refills and then the all you can eat orders only received on serving in an hour and when they asked for another plate it took 30 minutes for us to get them. The management was not any better when we made a complaint we were told that is what tips were for. I will not recommend this restaurant or go back.

I ordered there all you can eat fish chicken and shrimp extremely generous portions came with fries and your choice of two other sides very well done service was excellent! And server was very courteous!

It IS food…but it is not good food. The fish is frozen and everything pretty much tastes like cafeteria food. I regretted eating it. I hope everything in the De Soto area isn’t this bad..

Everything about this place is great except the hours. Closes on a saturday night @8 pm! Met up with a friend I haven’t seen in over a decade, we shut the place down.
