What a fantastic Greek restaurant Opa Taverna is, and here is why. This is our first time dining here and I am pleased with everything from service to the food. Our waiter was friendly and we ordered the chicken gyros. The gyros are really good and I like how everything is on the side rather than loaded onto the gyros. It makes it perfect for me who is picky about toppings. The chicken was flavorful with spices and soft. The gyro bread was excellent too, very fresh and soft. The fries are equally as good as the gyro and also has a bit of spices. Overall a great experience for our first visit and 8 highly recommend trying this location when in West Chester.

Everything is so amazing here. I loved the ambience. Food here is so good. Even the portion size is really good. All the food so fresh. All the servers are very polite. Even though the restaurant was so busy and we were not ready to order they waited for us for so long. I really appreciate that. Over all it was worth it. Would definitely visit this place again and recommend people to try it.

We were looking for a Greek restaurant in the Philly/Wilmington area to celebrate the graduation of a student of ours from Greece. We landed on Opa and it couldn’t have been more pleased. We sat outside – and the place was full by 6:30 on a week night (a great sign). Our student helped pick the menu for us which included many traditional Greek dishes, desserts, and Greek beer. Our student gave all the food a thumbs up!! I would recommend it to anyone.

The food was really good here, plenty of space to eat outside and bring your dog. It’s been awhile since I had quality Greek food. Seems like many people on staff are Greek too, server gave me a good recommendation on an imported Greek beer. The gyro platter is more than enough for one, could be split with two.
