We came here for dinner after several meetings this afternoon. It was just about a mile and a half away from where we were an hour before they close we arrived. The wait was short. Papoose Greek kitchen is such a gem, you had me, Cabanna, red sangria, souvlaki, pork and falafel. The starter was hot pita with olives and a lemon olive oil drip so good the prices are insanely reasonable. The service is so amazing. Our server was Julia. She was lovely. The energy at the place was, very captivating. This is what you want in your neighborhood restaurant that appeals to everyone with the service food and the ambience.

We found Pappous Greek Kitchen returning from a trip to the Bronx Zoo. The reviews were spot on. This experience was one of the best our family has encountered. The food was fantastic. We eat Mediterranean a lot, and this was some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was great and ambiance was very enjoyable. We tried the house sangria and even bought some to take home. If you enjoy Mediterranean food, Pappous delivers some of the best. Highly recommended.

What a cute and delightful place!! I am a Realtor and was showing some properties in Yorktown. We were hungry so stopped to eat here since most restaurants were closed for lunch. We arrived and there was plenty of parking. The environment inside was amazing, very nice layout, great music and amazing attention. They brought complimentary pita and olives. We ordered different dishes and all were excellent and gave us very generous portions for the price! They were so good that I forgot to take proper pictures. Will definitely make this a pit-stop when crossing to go to Bear Mountain.

I’ve been here a number of times, and it’s always on point. The food is very, very good, and the price is incredibly reasonable, but what makes them stand out is the service. The wait staff and hosts are extremely accommodating. They apologize for even the shortest waits (even on a busy Saturday), if you can’t decide between two sides they’ll offer to split them, and they constantly check in to see if you want more bread, water or need anything else.
