Typical Venezuelan food restaurant, basic but convenient menu for South America food lovers.

I read some great reviews on the cafe and so I decided to give it a try. It is definitely a lovely cafe. The color of the wall, paintings hang on the wall, solid wood tables and chairs, all combined into an elegant, relaxing and light hearted atmosphere. Both of us ordered Latte and we are impressed. The dessert was creamy and rich. The staffs were very friendly but not overdoing it. We really had a nice afternoon at this place and will recommend it to anyone.

I got Paella. It was dry. Super dry. Mussels were overcooked. One mussel piece was like rock. Shrimps were overcooked. Rice was overcooked.

I just moved to Houston and I’ve been adjusting and finding my way around especially with finding good homey food! When I walked in with my cousin and best friend this past weekend we were greeted by the sweet staff but also by the owner himself. He came to our table and spoke with us, as well as explaining everything on the menu to us. The food was way pastttt 10/10! I have to say this is by far one of the best places I’ve experienced in Houston so far!

Excelente experience trying Venezuelan food for the first time. The service was very attentive, I felt very comfortable and well received. I tried empanadas, tequeños, arepa and pastelito de carne. I highly recommend the pastelito de carne, was amazing! Certainly I will come back 🙂

Authentic Venezuelan cuisine!! Not overly greasy for the arepas. Black beans were really good, rice was savory, and the shredded beef- spot on!

Excellent family owned business. Jose & Carolina introduced themselves, told their stories, and invited me to return. Agatha was welcoming and provided a free taste of their special appetizer. The lasagna and jugo (juice) were delicious. I will return for leisurely dining. They do not rush you.
