Got the chicken kabob platter. Chicken was way overdone and dry. The lentil soup side was so salty it was not edible (for me at least). We also got the spicy feta dip and it had chunks of feta and was not creamy at all. I added a few slices of roasted peppers and some olive oil and blended it to get to the creamy dip texture it should be.

Please, please support this establishment. Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but it was also so reasonably priced. The portions are huge!!! I ordered two family meals for my son’s family party and everyone raved about it. We had so much food with plenty left over.

I live in south Wantagh and I will drive to Old Bethpage for gyros from Pete the Greek! Best gyro I ever had while at a friend’s house in Plainview. Just by the weight of it I knew it would be good. Best tzakziki (I probably spelled that wrong lol) sauce too. Can’t wait to get another gyro.
