This place came quite highly recommended, but we noticed that the reviews were a bit mixed. Indeed, the food was slow in arriving at the table, and all of the steaks were over cooked… We requested medium, and got something that was at least medium well. The food was prepared by hand, and was interesting in its preparation, but was not particularly exciting. For instance, all of the gravies were a bit on the salty side, and the baked potatoes were not exactly perfectly done.

We tried Pete’s on a recommendation from a campground host near by. We were impressed by the variety of cuisines on the menu and the quality of the food. The catfish special on a Friday evening was exceptional. The Steak Diane was extraordinary in quality and the chef’s special touches on the sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection.

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Our service was fine, in fact the waitress was attentive and very kind. The food, however, was atrocious. We made a reservation for our party of 7, and every single steak we ordered came out wrong. I’m talking we ordered medium rare and received well done steaks. Our “rare” steak that was ordered came out medium rare. The manager/cook was willing to redo the steaks but not compensate for any of them, unless we didn’t want them corrected, which would have been fine if this was one or two mistakes but after 5 steaks came out wrong, I didn’t expect for their redo to be any better. We ended up having the manger comp all the meals and we just left, after tipping the waitress. Please save yourselves the time and just eat McDonald’s for a higher quality meal. Also, some of these sides definitely came straight out of a can for $16-$19 a meal.

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the nutty buddy Burger. I like the combination of peanut butter and bacon and egg on a Burger. I highly recommend it to everyone. Service was slow though. I think they were a little busy but it took approximately 45 minutes for food. It was still wonderful. And we’ll go back again.

Excellent Greek fair! We ordered some tzatziki for the table and it was fresh – hit the spot! The Greek salad was fabulous, even as an appetizer. I ordered a spaghetti bolognese for my entree. While it was good, I would say stick to the Greek dishes that they serve as opposed to the Italian dishes as the Greek ones were simply excellent. I believe the owner and/or the chef is native to Greece, but that may be a rumour.

Waitress was nice. The rest I waited over an hour for a steak that made McDonalds taste good. Ordered KC strip steak, best part of the meal was the baked potato which you really can’t mess that up. My advice here is just close doors if you consider that a quality steak or atleast don’t call yourself a steakhouse.

We had driven 8 hours to arrive at our destination in Atchison, Kansas, and had not eaten since early breakfast. My daughter-in- law made reservations for 7 guests. Our table was waiting, the menu had several choicesfrom steaks, salmon, chicken and several veggie choices and salads. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. You must try!
