We just moved to the neighborhood so I was excited to see a Greek place right in town. I am Greek so of course my standard is a bit high. We called and ordered our food for pick-up and it was fast and they were very nice. We ordered my favorites tzatziki, avgolemono, chicken gyro, spanakopita.

Impressive. Noticeably fresh tastes and textures reflect the high-quality ingredients used. The lamb souvlaki was grilled to order, the thinly-cut French fries perfectly fried and finished off with some black pepper.

Gyros are really good portion size and very affordable prices! No fries in the gyros, so we ordered some on the side. A bit thicker cuts of meat than I’m used to but very flavorful. And friendly service!

I love the Gyros, the 7″ is really good as a snack for me, the 9″ is a meal inducing food coma! The Spanakopita pastry is flaky and delicious! Wow!

Nice location, right next to Orinda theater. Safe neighborhood. Got both regular chicken gyro and chicken Souvlaki gyro. Neither really did it for us. Clean and well crafted but not flavorful. The strips of chicken in the regular gyro were like cold cuts. The cubes of chicken in the souvlaki tasted of charcoal, i.e., a bit burned. Maybe the lamb or beef would have been better.

I work in Orinda and eat my lunch here at least once a week. I always order the same thing – small falafel pita wrap, sometimes with fries. The food is fresh, including the lettuce, tomatoes and red onion. The falafel is tasty and what I would expect. The fries are “to die for!” If I needed just a fries fix, I’d go here. Big portions too. Restaurant is small. I’d recommend eating at the outside tables or get the food to go.

My soup was served cold. When asked to warm it the cashier seemed unhappy. My feeling is that she doesn’t like the job, which created an unpleasant experience for me.
