What a culinary experience! Amazing! Delicious! I think my boyfriend and I tried 8 different plates, every flavor was so unique! Lots of seafood! It is very likely a Greek /Mediterranean cuisine with a splash of American seasoning! The ambiance was lovely! Our waitress Meghan was super attentive and courteous! Congratulations and a lifetime of success!

Popped into this awesome place spontaneously last night. What a treat. What an experience. Philosophia is an authentic Greek restaurant right here in Mt. Pleasant. You know a place is brilliant when you leave the restaurant with a circus in your mouth. Their trio sampler is a must and their chicken dish is cosmic. Even better, the service is spectacular. James the bartender allowed us to sample drinks. Highly recommend his Paloma Diablo,(wow). What impressed us the most is when the owner Justin Hunt came out to introduce himself to my wife and I and surprised us with his incredible baklava. It was like the finale at the end of a 4th of July fireworks show 🙂 I’ll let the photos do the talking but this restaurant is a must. Really reminded me of Europe where owners actually care and come out, introduce themselves and take pride in their work & establishment.

I ate here with my family yesterday and we tried almost every appetizer. I literally can’t pick which one is my favorite that’s how good they all are! We ordered the Halibut for our main entree which was delicious as well! I highly recommend making this a must stop anytime you are in Charleston!

My favorite restaurant. Have dined at Philosophia many times and always love to introduce it to family and friends. Delicious food, great service, and the chef (owner), Justin, makes everyone feel like family. Really enjoy sharing dips, appetizers and small plates. Entrees are top notch. Cannot wait for Justin and Dimitri’s next restaurant.

I honestly couldn’t add any more words of praise that haven’t already been said, but I STILL feel compelled to write a review. The food and the service were fantastic, and that was even on one of the busiest of holidays- Mother’s Day. On this day when a restaurant kind of has “a pass” because of the holiday and ordering from a price fixed menu, still the food was outstanding and the portions huge! In fact, we were all able to share our dishes with each other, and still have leftovers! EVERY dish was spot on, and if the caramel layer cake is being offered…make room!

Yours is a favorite spot! A go to for us – as we love dining their with friends or just sitting at the bar enjoying a beautiful dinner and drinks and the company of James (or Josh when James is off!). One word..OPAH! If you enjoy authentic Greek fare then Philosophia is the place for you. The Mediterranean flavors and aroma are magnificent as soon as you get close to the patio. Great atmosphere.. as chill or fun as you want it. Service was excellent as well. We had a variety of menu items and one was better than the next. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend the pork shoulder or the porterhouse lamb chops as well!

Absolutely amazing! I came for brunch with my sister and brother in law. I got the steak and eggs and a mimosa; both were delicious! The service was great, our server was very friendly and we got our food relatively quickly!! Will definitely be back for more!!!
