I don’t mind restaurants with B-grade hygiene. In fact, I enjoy the vibe, knowing they usually have good foods. But my experience today with this restaurant (first time) might have been too much.

Staff wasn’t friendly, barely spoke to us besides the necessities. They told us to change tabes because the menus are taped on the walls and the table we chose didn’t have one. The food came out pretty quick, but it wasn’t very hot. It was adequate for the price, but nothing special. The thai tea was small and half ice. The worst part was the fact that the table they moved us to had a COCKROACH on the utencil stand (as you can see in the picture). Definitely won’t return here due to that fact.

I saw the review saying it’s the most underrated pho place so we came to try it. Got the large pho dac biet. Loved the broth and the amount of noodles and toppings but the noodles were clumped together at the bottom of the bowl.

Amazing service and atmosphere! Very clean and orderly. We ordered the Egg rolls, Pho Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue (BBH) So 1. Both were tasty and made us warm and full!

One of the most underrated pho restaurants in the city! Seattle is amazing because a place as good as Pho So 1 would be the best pho restaurant in many other cities, but here not many know about it. The food here is really good… great broth, meat, and noodles.

Came in and you basically choose where to sit. I ordered steak and brisket pho and a side of egg rolls. The pho was pretty good, the broth could use just a little bit more flavor. The egg rolls were great. The service is great, he got our order and our food came out pretty quick. I would definitely come back again and also recommend it if you are in the neighborhood.

Ordered beef pho and it was so so good! Also their Vietnamese coffee is great! The only concern I had was that the bean sprouts looked old and questionable. So much so that my friends and I didn’t add them to our pho, which was good enough without it however. Friendly staff. Parking can be difficult (located immediately underground the front parking lot) and the surrounding area is a little dirty… watch your head when you cross the streets, the pigeons and crows have good aim o.0

I have visited this place for over a decade. There are so many Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle downtown area and my pick is always Pho So 1 as they cook what it is supposed to be prepared. Bun Bo Hue and Pho Bo are always recommended for rainy days in Seattle. The owner, cook and staffs are kind and professional. Cheers!

Stepping in is like a blast from the pre-pandemic past: a traditional bowl of pho da biet, rich bone broth, plenty filling, Vietnamese acoustic playing overhead, not too expensive either!
