Hands down the best and the most yummiest Black Forest cake I ever tasted outside of India. Can’t be more thankful to her for making my son’s birthday a memorable day for all of us with the most amazing cake ever. She’s a pro!!! My experiences have taught me not to have high expectations for large South Asian events. But my expectations were finally proved wrong at the South Asian American Digitial Archives (SAADA) fundraiser in downtown Chicago in Oct 2019. The event was catered by Plattered by Niki, a start-up boutique Indian catering company. The Samosas and the paneer crostinis (among all the vegetarian things I was able to try) were mout-watering delicious and presented so well. Finally, someone did justice to Indian food!

Recently ordered from Plattered by Niki (butter chicken, mutter paneer, dal makhani, layered parantha). MIND BLOWING GOOD! I kid not…my wife & I wiped the containers Clean! Delicacy of Flavors, spice quotient, packaging, everything was “spot on”! We’ve taken their help for catering for 30 guests at home & also ordered food just for ourselves. The consistency of flavors, taste is exactly the same each time! Sometimes Indian food from restaurants can be tad too oily, spicy, high on salt. We have never ever had that issue with Plattered by Niki for the last several years. Not once! It’s really, truly “home cooked food”. Highly highly recommend Plattered by Niki.
