Very generous portions and everything was super delicious! I loved the cream soup in the beginning, which was very light and refreshing. The crab and potato salad is to die for. And the katsu was fried to a perfect crisp. Highly recommend!

In the beginning, you think the price is too high but the portion size and cooked on the spot makes it all worth it. Cheese katsu has a lot of cheese inside and was worth the additional 3 dollars. Evenly cooked, not dry, great flavor and texture. Sauce seems homemade and was neither strong on acidity nor sweetness and had a great balance. Potato salad was on point, didn’t have a lot of mayonnaise on it. It felt like everything was made fresh. Not a lot of salad or rice of which I liked. Portion size control is key when it comes to Japanese cuisine and they nailed it.

A couple weeks ago, a woman gave us a flyer for this place while we were visiting the 7 eleven next door. We told ourselves we’d visit, but didn’t have the opportunity to until last night. We ordered take out. We got the cheese katsu, pork katsu, fried dumplings, and shrimp tempura. It was A LOT of food for two people, so we had a mini feast while enjoying some classic movies. Everything was packed to perfection, and we had everything we needed to eat comfortably. Chopsticks, napkins,, and spoons for the soup were provided. It was delicious and everyone was so friendly while we waited for our food inside. The milk coffee and the black bean beverage were delicious. We definitely want to return to try the fish katsu next!

My favorite katsu in Philly area! The chicken is made with white meat and is delicious. It is served with a gravy instead of the standard katsu sauce, just something to note

First time here and ordered a cheese katsu for takeout. Generous portion with red bean rice, cabbage salad, mashed potatoes, and cream soup. Taste was solid. Great texture on the cheese and fried coating. Gravy flavor was more muted than expected but it complemented the katsu well IMO. Cream soup was slightly sweet and mellow, which I found refreshing after eating the katsu. Very polite and nice worker when I arrived to pick up my order.

Came across this little restaurant on accident. The interior is very sweet and quaint and so are the staff/owners. Food platters are generous and comforting! I appreciate the little slices of fruit that came with my takeout order. It’s perfect to end a meal with some fruit after eating a comfort food. Closed on Sundays.
