Service was great even though it only seemed like there was one guy waiting tables. Complimentary chips and salsa is amazing. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the salsa. Margaritas looked delicious! The food was a little greasy and oily, but it was delicious. I would recommend this place for a fun Mexican date night. Sit on the patio! Come here over Old Pueblo.

The food was average and bland. I was less than impressed with the options on their “vegetarian menu”. Both of the dishes I ordered were not well seasoned and the side of beans and rice could have used some work. The prices aren’t bad and the location is easy to get to, but the food wasn’t special enough to warrant a re-visit. The service was also quite slow, for it being a fairly quite Monday evening. Wasn’t thrilled.

This place was way overpriced. It was our first visit and we just wanted some good Mexican food, nothing fancy. We had two entrees glasses, two glasses wine & one fountain soda and it cost $90 with the tip. $90!!! The food was average/bland and nothing special. The chips and salsa were good, and the server was great, but that was about it. We got the check apparently they CHARGE for refills on fountain soda…??? I complained to the manager and told her that this is something that should be made clear and she laughed and said nowhere in the city has had free refills in 15 years….?! LOL my boyfriend and I eat out 3 to 4 times a week in Chicago and I’ve never been somewhere that doesn’t allow free refills on fountain soda. I know some Mexican restaurants have bottles or canned soda so in that case I get it but fountain soda?!? Save your money. For what we paid here we could have gone to some of our favorite places downtown and had a much better meal for the same price. Love supporting local places but not when it feels like they’re only after your money.

I’ll never go back! I paid $28 for 3 steak tacos and a bag of chips and salsa. 28 bucks! The tacos were listed for $12 online but they had a 3 dollar surcharge on steak tacos when you go in to pick em up. The worst part is that they weren’t even good! The chips and salsa were incredible but the tacos were garbage. They didn’t even include any kind of salsa for them. Tony’s Burrito Mex is right around the corner I’ll stick with that in the future.

Super delicious and quick service. We got enchiladas as our main dish. We had their flan and the touch of rum absolutely made the dish the best.

Walking into Que Rico is like walking into your family’s kitchen. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The food is some of the best food that you will have in the city and the margaritas are amazing ❤️

Sad to say this will be the last time I go to this restaurant. I used to love this place growing up. It’s really unfortunate that the tortilla in the tacos were served with mold, twice. 🙁
