Not the most authentic ramen or Japanese restaurant. Many good fusion options to choose from. But a great vibe inside. Perfect for drinking and hanging out with friends or on a date

The food is absolutely delicious. There’s a little something for everyone, and it’s very flavorful with just enough heat that you can still enjoy your meal.

After going to three different Ramen-San places, I’m still confused by the good reviews because their ramen just doesn’t measure up. Chicago has much better choices. I returned because my friend wanted to give it a try. The chicken ramen tasted like chicken noodle soup, which isn’t authentic ramen. The trendy setting and friendly staff are positives, but the ramen always falls short.

Came here with my family for a birthday outing. Tonkotsu was great. Good broth, firm noodles, the pork strips were incredibly tender (like rib meat.) Everyone else seemed delighted with their food as well. My mother ordered the Tantan-san, which was very good by her admission, but a little too spicy for her.

Now this place is fun with amazing ramen. I think this is my favorite ramen place in Chicago. This is great for the younger crowd and a group of friends. I had a sump bowl, it was amazing. I also had a pork bun. Delicious

We didn’t have a reservation on a Sunday night but luckily they could squeeze us in. We sat outside and it was really nice. The fried chicken bao bun was good but it needed more coleslaw. The sumo ramen was delicious and huge we had to share a bowl.

Cool place for ramen in River North. Not exactly traditional, but still creative and tasty dishes. I know it’s a Ramen place, but there aren’t many other options in the menu. Still the portions are very big, price reasonable and very good! Try the baos and dumplings too.

The ramen at this restaurant is very tasty. I got the tan tan san ramen and the small ginger pieces paired really well with the relatively thin broth. The uncut mushrooms were tender and the noodles a nice Al dente. I just wish the tofu was fried instead of raw.

This is a more Japanese American fusion ramen spot. Their ramen was good, but it wasn’t super authentic or amazing. My favorite dish was actually their edamame hummus that comes with sesame rice crisp. They have a good lunch special deal, Express Lunch, that allows you to pick a rice dish, half bowl of ramen, salad, and a small dish. They also offer gluten free noodles/substitutes.

We had the edamame hummus and had to order a second batch- it was incredible!! A must have. We also got the Avocado Tuna Tar tar and it was also delicious, although not enough for a reorder like the edamame.
