Great place to enjoy a bowl of ramen in Chicago. The ramen was good, but what made this restaurant stand out was the service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they serve. They’re more than happy to guide you through the menu and provide recommendations. They ask about dietary restrictions upon ordering & inquire about your desired spice level (chili oil on the side or in your broth). The contemporary yet cozy interior, coupled with the bustling energy of the staff, created a delightful ambiance. Would definitely come again!

My family ate here for my daughters (11) birthday dinner. We usually order take out so this was our first time dining it. It was great. The food was delicious but we knew that. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect.

The food speaks for itself! Just as delicious as it looks, and a great lunch special. The atmosphere was laid back with great music playing. There was barely any wait time to receive our food and the service was so smooth, we never had to call anyone over.

Delicious ramen with some unique flavors and good portion sizes. They also have a kimchi sake bomb which is one of the most unique taste combinations. We were seated almost immediately and there are some great outdoor dining seating if weather permits.

We started by getting some recommend drinks by our amazing server Will. The service was definitely a highlight and should not be overlooked. We got three appetizers, the Thai wings, the dumplings and the raw tuna. Great flavors and servings. We each ordered a different ramen. The Sumo ramen was the best. The pho was not a wow factor but the pork belly in the Sumo took us out. We ended by a recommend peanut butter and chocolate roll, we liked it but definitely needed some vanilla ice cream. Still, we enjoyed the vibe, the music and the service. Will return on a cold night.

I visited this location twice in one week and I only have good things to say. The hosts were very courteous and both waitresses made the experience so great. The ramen was the best I’ve have so far! Very flavorful, a great amount of spice, and the chicken was perfect! The appetizers did not fall short either. The sticky Thai wings had the perfect sauce (both sweet and tangy) and their gyoza is nothing to play around with. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very attentive. Great atmosphere and has great potential to being a place I regular at!

So amazing. The food was excellent and I love the vibe of the restaurant. Something about hip hop and anime just works. RAMEN-SAN is the physical embodiment of those two things working in perfect harmony. Can’t wait to go back and try some other menu items.
