In reality If I could score this a zero I would have. Waiter was rude and so didn’t want to be there. Though we were pretty specific on how we wanted something it came out completely wrong. We didn’t send it back because Our other dish came out clearly out of a microwave with water pooling on the plate and the best was it wasn’t even cooked. Cheese was cold and raw. We sent it back and he was less than thrilled. The street tacos were fine but got the street corn. Was was literally a can of corn they didn’t bother to drain with Mayo and cheese on it. Wasn’t even prepared correctly. Waiter was hard to find, didn’t want to provide refills and we left

We have eaten there several times and food has always been excellent and still was. However, I ordered enchiladas with green sauce and my order was correct. My friend ordered enchiladas with green sauce and she got red sauce. Order was not corrected because they were out of green sauce. Felt we were lied to because a to go order was placed for 2 enchiladas with green sauce and was filled. Eventually meal was taken off but we were still lied.. may or may not be back.

Not a long wait to sit, drinks were even out pretty quickly as well. However, Food was a bit more sporadic. My side of rice & beans came out same time as my husbands burrito, then our daughters meal came out, then finally our sons. The main part of my meal (pictured) took a while to come out. I was almost done with my side & my son was already done with their plate by time my main came out. After seeing it (literally half a pineapple stuffed), it made sense why it took so long but a little communication would have helped. And/or some better planning so all the meals came out closer together & my main & side at the same time.

Food was good but service was HORRIBLE. Super long wait which was fine, but once seated a very young bus boy came to take drink orders and he was very confused by everything ordered. Another actual server then came over a while later and got our drink orders, margaritas were not so good, tasted like long islands. When the food came out one person in our party’s food was missing. The server was confused and had to retake his order, and then we waited for a while longer and when his food came out, it still wasn’t what he ordered. No drink refills and in order to get some I had to stare down the server, in which he saw me multiple times and walked away multiple times. Finally when he came over, he rushed each time to leave the table before we were even able to order another round of drinks. I had to chase him down to get our check. Like i said, food was pretty good, but drinks were horrible and it was all very chaotic. Maybe because it was cinco de mayo they were struggling, but another lady in line said that this place is busy like this every weekend. Not sure if it was super busy or they just can’t handle busy times. Also no women working there which was weird. I’m not one to do bad reviews but definitely won’t be coming back here.

The frozen Margarita tasted like it was straight from a mix. Terrible. Corn chips tasted like they hadn’t changed the oil in way too long. Chicken was salty and guacamole had no flavor. Would not recommend ever.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the Terre Haute area. We have been eating here for years. The food is always hot and delicious. The chips and salsa are amazing. The wait staff all know us by name and treat us more like family than customers. Highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We had dinner there to celebrate my buddies wife’s 50th birthday. The food was great. But my only complaint is that I kept telling the waiter that I wanted my steak rare and he kept saying well done. Either he didn’t know the meaning or was just trying to steer me in another direction…. Hahaha….A good time was had by all !!!
