Terrible. We have ordered here numerous times, no issues. Pick up or delivery. Tonight my son and I ordered a Medium half cheese half sausage “Light cheese/well done” pizza that came out doughy/extra cheese complete opposite of what we ordered and twice as long as quoted. After a 1 hour and 45min wait when we pre paid and even asked to pre tip…were told 45-1hr max. An hour late…I called to cancel, supposedly they are canceling/refunding our order. The gentleman on the phone said his driver was already gone/just to accept the pizza even though it was refunded. This is what we got an hour later than the quoted time… still tipped the driver %20… horrible quality and horrible communication. When I called to cancel the guy said he had no way to contact his driver….LMAO its 2023….you really can’t be serious… I guess a FROZEN JACKS PIZZA IT IS! ♂️

So disappointed. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip and we got something that resembles soup, as seen in the photo. With a tiny half loaf of bread. I have been a patron of Rico’s in Sarasota, and I will never go to this location again. When I contacted the delivery service they called and the store said sorry about your luck, it always looks runny like that, no refunds. Pizza was mediocre at best. Won’t be giving this place my business ever again.

We ordered from DoorDash during covid and I cannot believe how good this was. The food arrived hot and was well packaged! The portions were huge! That photo is considered their slice of pizza. The eggplant rolatini was AMAZING and it came with a very large portion of pasta , a salad, and 2 bread knots!! We will definitely be going there in person soon!!!

Food quality is inconsistent. On our first visit, the meal was outstanding and worthy of a five-star review. On our latest visit, however, the food quality was poor. The chicken was tough and rubbery. The sausage, overcooked. the sauce, unseasoned, plain. and the pasta undercooked. Love ordering from ricos! The guys there always kill it. From the kitchen to delivery you can’t go wrong. We always order ricos for fight nights and big games and even small dinner nights. Just an awesome all around restaurant. Food is just amazing!

Order elsewhere. Took longer than I was told it would take. Was super expensive for what we got. Was forced to tip before I received the food. Got cold pizza and wings with the wrong sauce. The wings were hard, cold, and looked like they were made of plastic. Called them and let them know of the issue thinking maybe they will re-deliver the order or at the minimum give me some of my money back, but the gentleman I spoke with was rude and unwilling to help. All he offered was a replacement of the wings and kept telling me to come pick it up after I informed him I could not drive. I expect more than 10 hard&cold wings and a small 12″ pizza that I have to microwave for $40. This was my first experience with this restaurant and my last.
