We tried the Heater on a biscuit, and it was delicious. It had the perfect heat. We also tried the 1/2 bird original, the hot tenders, the fries, the mac n cheese, the picnic corn salad, the bread pudding, and the peach cobbler. We will definitely be back.

I was sucked into Roost by the cute exterior leaving me to assume this would be the best fried chicken I would ever had. Welp, I was wrong. We ordered a 1/4 chicken with 2 sides (a biscuit and the mac & cheese) and a soda for $20. Seemed a bit on the pricey side, but it would be worth it if you get amazing food. The chicken was hot and juicy, that’s where the positives of the chicken ended. The chicken was so greasy, we wrapped it in napkins to soak up some of the oil. The skin/breading was crispy and completely flavorless. Is this chicken not seasoned? The biscuits were hands down one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had and the mac and cheese was mediocre. In addition to this overpriced bland meal, we also had to pay $1 for a sauce; we got the hot honey, which was the most watery honey I have ever had in my life. On top of this waste of money and calories, I was told the restrooms were for employees only, which I was fine with, until the person who came in after me iasked to wash his hands and he was allowed to use the bathroom … not cool.

Awesome place. We did two build your own chicken sandwiches that were stellar. The biscuits are lovely and the sauces and blue cheese were perfect. Chicken was breaded and cooked perfectly. We liked the “spicy” better than the Nashville Hot. The Mac and cheese and fries were excellent as well. No indoor seating but they have a few tables on a little patio out front. We would highly recommend this place!

Fantastic chicken spot and great spot. You know the food going to hit the spot when the workers got an attitude. Crispy and crunchy chicken with a great amount of spice. The biscuits were nice and soft as well. They got a great lil patio spot outside to eat, not much space inside.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while, so I placed a pickup order. Got the half bird meal because I wanted leftovers for tonight or tomorrow. Possibly breakfast, don’t judge! Love the chicken…very crispy with a deep, rich flavor.

The chicken and biscuit sandwich I had was amazing! Rhe fries are spiced perfectly, and the sweet tea was good. The price was a little high for what I got, but I would definitely go back. There are a few stools to sit at inside, but I would consider this location a take out place.
