Went here 3-4 times it was starting to become my favorite pupuseria! Called in for my order, went in and paid everything was fine. When my food was ready, the girl that gave me my order gave me such a weird unwelcoming look. idk what that was about but I prefer Dona Tere or Pupuseria Dona Azucena, the staff is much friendlier even to those who aren’t Salvadorian.

Food isn’t particularly good. Rice & beans had no flavor/very greasy, chicken tasted more like grease than anything else, plantains were burned on the outside and mushy on the inside, and yuca was bland and dry.

Hate to say it…terrible meal. Looks like I got a bunch of old, left over, dried out chicken. Wife could not take one bite. I managed to eat a leg quarter. Super greasy and salty. Too bad, last visit was great. No luck today.

So glad we stopped here instead of going to Popeye’s like we planned. Hands down the best pupusas I’ve ever had and only $2.99. The arroz chaufa and pollo a la plancha was also delicious. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Sorry there are no photos but the food looked so yummy I forgot to take any before we started eating.

I went there yesterday on the way back home to North Carolina and it was delicious! I got the special number one and the scrambled eggs with shredded pork was absolutely delicious and I feel like the bell pepper with the onion just gave it so much more flavor. The plantains obviously are delicious because they’re fried and it brings up the sweetness even more I like the cheese in the sour cream that they put on it, and the little thick tortillas that they gave me were good. I also got a piece of rotisserie chicken, which was a chicken breast with refried beans and yucca and two Pupusas, which were delicious. I got the. Agua de Jamaica & Horchata water which were delicious because they were the real deal not the powder stuff that some Mexican restaurants or Hispanic restaurants give you. The girls were very nice and attentive. it was very clean and food came out in a decent amount of time.
