I went to this place with my husband we ordered Dark lunch special w/2 sides in which I chose the mashed potatoes that tasted like instance potatoes and cabbage that had absolutely no salt. The rice and peas were hard and undercooked, chicken was even worse. This was not authentic Jamaican food. WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. All tasted like hospital food

The only reason it got a one is so I can leave a reviews. As a Jamaican cook we really need to stop faking to these people about Jamaican food. Who ever wrote these other reviews poor folks sorry you have not had real food. First off I should have known something was up when I saw the menu and how it was trying to be a mixed influence when you offer good food the food sell it self. Then when I stopped there it was 4-5 pm and no one else in the store. But I gave it a try a beef patty a pineapple soda and jerk dinner. Then they calm they dinner came with two sides another red flags true Jamaicans knows the cost and won’t be pushing they food out the door like that. Beef patty was cold. Jerk chicken was a soggy went mess. The rice and peas day old and the two sides yuck the Mac and cheese I did not touch cuz I know it would have had me in the bathroom and the cabbage two bites in I could not do no more. I will upload the pics I eat the chicken and rice because I paid 19 bucks and don’t believe in waisting food but as for the cook or the owner of that restaurant please visit Jamaica for real Jamaican cooking. And I absolutely will not be recommending this place to anyone.

The food was excellent. 10/10. Literally the best Alfredo I’ve ever had. My only issue was that it took a pretty long time for them to get me my food. It’s best to just order over the phone then pick it up.

First time ordering here.. the younger woman who works cashier/phone calls was extremely rude to me for no reason. I called to ask if my order was ready and all she said was “it’s not.” Then when I asked how much longer, she says an hour. I only ordered 1 goat meal and it took almost 2 hours. The food was decent, but not good enough for the wait and bad service. There was only one other customer there when I showed up, and my order was still not ready for another 5 min.. She was ignoring me and giving me dirty looks the entire time. I will say, the man that is the cook was kind. This girl acted like she had a stick up her and feeds off of negativity. Never coming back.

Cashier was pretty rude and seemed like she hated her job. This can’t be a real Jamaican eatery. The food doesn’t taste right. Ambiance inside the restaurant isn’t right. I was very confused. Also no bread with my veggie plate? I don’t know. This place was overpriced. Food was sub-par. I ordered corn mac & cheese, yams and rice and peas. Corn was horrible. It was so hard it was inedible. Mac was nice but yams had wayyy to much nutmeg. Is the cook caucasian??? Didnt taste like black people yams AT ALL. Rice and peas well what can I say they were basic. Pretty disappointed. I love my jamiacans and I love my jamaican cuisine but this place left a bad taste in my mouth.

Hidden gem. My husband told me about this place and took me here to try their food. I took a point away because the yams were missing an ingredient. They lacked sweetness and were bland on this day. My husband had them before and stated they were delicious. I will be back to try them again because the chicken was very tasty and favorable. Overall, my family enjoyed their meal. I would recommend giving them a try.
