I came here for lunch with friends. The food came out quickly after we ordered, which was very nice as everyone was hungry.

Punches above its weight with Greek! The feta fries are spectacular, the meat is tender and nicely seasoned (especially love the pork shoulder), and the orange feta sauce is a perfect pair for everything! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Please open a store in Chicago!

I came here to get a quick meal in a good environment and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the chicken souvlaki in a pita and it was so yummy! I also tried the peach lemonade and was happy with how good it tasted. The environment was also clean, lively, and the ambiance fit the place nicely. I would definitely come back here when I’m in the mood for Greek food.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is how American the menu is. It touts itself as a Greek establishment, yet they offer only one lamb dish. It is mostly chicken and pork….not even a good attempt at authenticity. I did not see a basic Gyro anywhere on the menu. The guy (see picture) who took my order rang my order twice so it amounted to $40 instead of $20. No one said a word until I questioned the bill with the waitress. She then made me practically beg for plastic “silverware”. I ordered the Greek Lamb and Grain Bowl. The “Lamb” consisted of three meatballs which, as far as I could tell, were half hamburger helper filler. The rice was dry and flavorless and the food dull and insipid overall. Edible but totally unremarkable. I will not return. Very disappointing.

I love Saloniki. I usually do “take outs” but eating there is also a very pleasant experience. The food is always delicious. They have a nice variety of choices on the menu. My favorites are “Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita” and “Chicken Souvlaki Pita”.

This moderately quick service greek style restaurant is great for lunch or casual meetups. There is a surprising amount of seating. You get free fries with a student ID but make sure you sub rice for fries in a pita or plate or else you’ll have double fries. The ingredients in the salad felt fresh.

As me and my friends were ready to explore Cambridge we needed the perfect lunch and the place didn’t disappoint. The food is extremely tasty, they have a decent size menu and plenty of options to choose from.

I have only gotten the chicken pita sandwich (basically a gyro) and it’s very very good. They actually put a few French fries in it which seems odd but it actually works (but I prefer it without them and request they omit them from my sandwich). But it’s an attractive and clean space and in addition to counter help they also have self serve kiosks to speed up the process. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a tasty Greek meal in a short period of time
