A great breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot with a lovely atmosphere. They have a great menu and friendly service. I felt right at home. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the chorizo Benedict, which was amazing. The eggs were poached to perfection. The Mexican hot chocolate is also delicious, it’s strong on the cinnamon and spices, so it’s not super sugary. The side salad was fresh, and the side of fruit was fresh and presently so cute!

Savanna Restaurant offers an excellent breakfast choice with their red velvet pancakes. The pancakes are fluffy, topped with cream cheese frosting, chocolate chips, and fresh strawberries, providing a delightful blend of flavors. Highly recommended for a delicious morning indulgence.

Absolutely amazing! We tried to go to get food after a daunting oncology appointment. Craving for something with a little spice was real. Tried DS Taqueria next door and you needed an ID just to get in, which I did not have. We walked down and say this bright green cheery place! Walked in to nothing but smiles and wonderful customer service!! Our food….? ARE YOU KIDDING??? SO GOOD!!!!! I can’t explain how happy I am that we stopped in, because our bellies are so happy!!!!

Good breakfast/brunch place. They have some unique and tasty menu items like this waffle tower. This was good. It would’ve been great if the chicken breast wasn’t overcooked. The waffles and the sweet spicy syrup with the bacon pieces were really good. However, the chicken was hard and overcooked. Which was really too bad because if it hadn’t been overcooked, the dish would’ve been perfect. This was my second time eating here, and I ordered the eggs Benedict trio the first visit, and that dish was very good. I’m hoping this time was just a bad day. I’ll be back and recommend this place.

My friends and I came in for Brunch!! BYOB :). The servings are decent size. We sat in the patio. Definitely a cute brunch spot! I recommend definitely ordering a flavored iced coffee!! I had chocolate chip panc. Definitely ask for Ottoniel as your server . He was so nice and attentive. Can’t wait to come back and try the red velvet pancakes!

So confused about all the decent reviews. We got a breakfast torta and chilaquiles and the torta was okay but the chilaquiles tasted like canned salsa was poured on them and the eggs were almost sunny side up when I asked for over medium. The potatoes with the breakfast torta tasted very old and the coffee tasted burnt and watery. We had to get out of there and go somewhere else for food because we could barely force it down.

I LOVED my first visit to Savanna. I didn’t even know this place existed! It’s a great brunch spot to hit before boozing in Boystown on the weekend.

This place was okay. It’s cute, I like the vibe, but the food was just okay. Everything needed salt. The carnitas benedict was supposed to be one of their specialties, but the pork didn’t really have much flavor and the guacamole was heavily lacking citrus and salt. The egg was cooked nicely though. The potatoes needed seasoning and could have been cooked longer. Covered in Cholula- it was a fine breakfast. Service was wonderful.
