There is no sign outside indicating that this restaurant is located within another. I walked inside the Royal Oyster House, and I had to ask the bartender if I was at the right location. He then motioned to a woman sitting at the bar and stated “this is She Said Wings.” The woman got up, and she walked into the back to retrieve my order. It was then given to me without another word as she went back to her bar stool. While I could certainly forgive this if the wings were high-quality, I was in fact extremely disappointed when I got home. The meat and skin of the wings were mushy, which typically means that they were frozen. Seeing as how they charge $1.25 per wing, I would expect to receive fresh produce. The quality was equal to what you would receive from Papa Johns — small and barely resembling chicken. Lastly, the menu gives such mouth-watering descriptions of the different wing flavors that they offer. As I couldn’t make up my mind, I ordered the buffalo, Korean BBQ, and mango habanero style wings. The sauce for the Korean BBQ and mango habanero wings was like syrup — it was overly sweet and excessive. Combining a candy-like sauce with mushy wings in turn makes this restaurant a solid 1/5.

This restaurant had great potential to be a regular favorite but not only do they not answer their phone for to go orders or respond to their delivery apps when you try to order from them. They also falsely claim they are open when they are not. I tried to reach out to owner and she deleted my comment instead. As a local who works in a restaurant this is absolutely unacceptable behavior. I have tried restaurant several times and always received terrible service. Servers and bartenders too busy playing on phone. Employee talking out loud about the tips someone left her while someone else is in the kitchen with her drinking wine. Walked around entire building trying to find someone to help me. I would never ignore paying guest in my restaurant. Sadly I’ll never come back here no matter how the food taste because terrible service is not worth paying for.

The wings and sprouts are SO good!! I love that I can get wings from the She Said menu and my favorite salad (the Royal Salad with blackened shrimp) from the Royal Oyster menu.
