Got the Gyros. They were dry and terrible. Only had about a tablespoon of Taziki sauce on the gyro. Will likely never order from here again. Expected better for a $12.50 lunch.

The food is just ok. Gyro meat was dry, not much taste. Fries were nice & crispy, but again no flavor. The cashiers were very friendly. It is a little place. Plain & simple. Nothing that I would come back for.

Food was just okay for us overall. The service could have been better! The person taking the order seemed annoyed. I ordered a three piece fish and shrimp it arrived with two pieces so I questioned why. Another lady told me that’s bc the fish and shrimp comes with 2 pieces…..welllll it would have been nice if the annoyed young lady taking the order would have told me that! The shrimp was good fish was just okay nothing special about it. The pita burger was really good and if we decide to return it would be only for that. My tea was minutes away from being sour. My son enjoyed his chicken tenders and fries.

Not Your Average Foodie
I should have been here sooner than today but I finally had the experience of Showmars. Impressed is an understatement. Let’s start with the amazing young woman that was inputting orders. Inviting and in a positive mood. Patient she was because I was unsure what I was in the food mood for. I decided on my default in regards to such an establishment, Gyro platter with fries and a Greek salad. Next, as I awaited my food to be cooked to order. I met a very down to earth kitchen staff member “Anthony” we spoke to one another as if we’ve known one another for years. Anthony’s energy, customer service and overall attitude was top notch. To have such an employee such as Anthony, Showmars should be beyond grateful. Such a positive asset to this company. Next, my Gyro platter was brought to my sitting space, photogenic surely. I took my time, enjoying my afternoon meal indulging in the freshness of my choice within the wide variety of menu. Just about finished, another customers meal was brought to their area. I was curious what it was as it smelled and looked worthy of making room in my stomach. It was a baked potato soup I believe? The awesome cashier asked if I would enjoy a sample and yes of course I would so she was kind enough to give me such. The following as well was simply great. I will definitely keep this option in mind for a future visit. Lastly, the wonderful slender, taller young woman with braids upon her hair today was extremely joyful with a beyond bright smile placed on her face illuminating the room. She also made sure to check upon all dine in guests, assuring all was to their likeness. She was also handling curb side orders and tending to other in house duties. She was truly working hard and didn’t seem to be phased by multi tasking one bit. This woman needs a raise for all of her hard work. She was lovely to say the least. Thank you to herself as well as all of Showmars Winston Salem, North Carolina. I appreciate the hospitality.

Went there for the first time! The Place looked clean, the food was good and the service as well! What I liked is that every now and then one of the staff will come and ask if we need more refill for our drinks and if everything was good! Will be going again there sometime and will update as I go!

I finally made it! I wanted to try the shrimp and the flounder, so I ordered the combo entree. My sister got the fish sammitch and fries. The hype isn’t hype, it’s true! Everything is lightly breaded and fried fresh to order. You order at the counter but then they bring it to you. They also kept stopping by and refilled our drinks, refilled sauces and brought to go boxes. In my opinion, this counts as table service. The manager also stopped by to check our happiness. For the record? Our happiness was off the charts! My leftovers reheated just fine and were delicious! The tater sauce was several notches above the competition and since I’m a condiment eater, this is a huge plus. I would definitely eat here again and the sooner the better!
