I won a gift certificate for the best hat Contest on Kentucky Derby day at the bar in the Sheraton. So I wanted to use the gift for a special occasion. We decided to celebrated my Mother’s 79th Birthday on a Sunday evening in June. The Restaurant was empty and perfect we could hear each other speak, It quickly got packed with guest. To our surprise the food was excellent. The 22 oz Cowboy Ribeye Steak was seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. The Crabcakes were flavorful, French onion, soup yummy, Steak & frites hot, scrumptious and the shrimp were just delightful. All the food was really good, hot, well seasoned, we enjoyed it very much. The ambience was also great, the staff were friendly, kind and attention to detail. Mose the Manager remembered me and welcomed me back with a smile. Other then my Mother who’s birthday it was. The other stat of the evening was Milen our waiter, he was patient, He was knowledgeable & explained the difference between the cuts of steaks, the cuts of meat, He even recommended how we cook the steaks for better flavor. He’s funny, charismatic, fun & kept us laughing. We look forward to coming again and this next time I would like to stay in the Sheraton hotel. Be sure to walk off your Dinner with a nice walk on the Riverwalk directly behind the hotel. All the sports stars are on the wall.

I didn’t take pics of anything but the desert but the food and service was excellent. I’m usually pretty skeptical of hotel restaurants and I was so pleased with everything I had here. Upon arrival on a Sunday evening the restaurant was quiet. We were the only guest but within the hour other guests trickled in. Signature drinks used quality tequila and vodka. Skirt steak and fries were cooked well, steakhouse burger was excellent, crab cakes were delightful. Don’t sleep on Shulas.

This place was pretty terrible. I ordered the 10oz filet (which is $77) and the first time they brought it out it was completely unseasoned. They also only seared 1 side of the steak which makes no sense. I was told this is how they just do it but if you use logic how could you expect any seasoning to penetrate a steak if you only sear 1 side? The second time they brought my steak out after I sent it back, the kitchen clearly was offended and they over seasoned my steak. I was biting multiple bits of salt with each bite. I only asked for it to be seasoned. I never asked for EXTRA. I also suspect they may have microwaved my steak due to how dry the edges were but the middle was almost raw. The mashed potatoes also had no salt and when I asked they said “well it’s because some people are sensitive to salt” and even when they brought it a second time they still didn’t season it and said they couldn’t because it’s a big batch of mashed potatoes. However my option was to use the salt at the table. Again using logic, if I as a customer am able to season my own mash with the salt at the table then I’m pretty sure the kitchen should be able to do the same when they know I didn’t like it the first time. Clearly this place is never worth going to for anyone and I feel sorry for anyone that goes there. Fortunately the manager did the right thing with my bill since I did not eat the food but they seriously need to fix the issues in the kitchen if they want to stay open. If I could give 0 stars I would

One of the best dinning experiences in Chicago. Great menu, the food and service was outstanding. The oysters as an appetizer were very meaty and delicious. The 22oz Ribeye bone-in with mashes potatoes was incredible. Cooked to perfection. A must stop if your in the neighborhood.

The positives: The service overall was quite good. A little slow, but very friendly. All of the sides were fantastic!

When you are traveling, and have a really tight schedule, you don’t always have time to look for a new, exciting places to eat. Even if you have the time to look up a few places, you might not have the time to actually go to one. In this case, what you wish for is a great restaurant inside the hotel you are staying at. This is exactly what happened with me when I traveled to Chicago. I stayed at Sheraton Grand, and thankfully, they had a real restaurant in it.

I have been here in Chicago for a 4 day conference. A fantastic dining experience was had at the end of each day, where the food and atmosphere have been absolutely superb. Angel, J.C.and Bella are not only very personable, but exceptionally professional in their presentation of one’s meal. This is why I returned at the end of each day. This dining experience should not be missed and I highly recommend this restaurant located within the Riverwalk Sheraton. You will not find better steaks or service elsewhere. Thank you!

Pretty good atmosphere and good service. Food was below average, unfortunately. Meat was dry and salad had no taste. Not worth the money, sorry to say that.

Shula’s was a nice place with good food. I was worried at first that all of the seats were small and had arms attached, but the staff adjusted the seating once they saw everyone who was there. That is greatly appreciated. Our waitress was attentive and she had very good recommendations. This restaurant is inside of the Sheraton Grand hotel but is no “hotel restaurant” Very good for a business dinner.

The food was bad, the price was awful, the service was even worse. They clearly don’t know hospitality or care about the food being served, and even worse, they act as if the patrons are a burden that they’d rather not have to wait on. Why be a restaurant, go into healthcare. I would ask for my money back, but I never want to deal with them again.
