I want to love this place. But today, my server was AWFUL. She spent more time visiting at the host stand than serving our table. But when she did bring us the Chicken skewers… they were RAW inside!! She didn’t even offer to replace them. She simply “removed them from my ticket”. That’s not what I asked for! The tempura was good. The environment was nice. But the server needs to find another job. SHE WAS AWFUL! And take the cook with you… raw chicken??? I ate half of it before I realized it. Shame on you!

It’s been years since our last visit and its just as we remembered it. Big menu with a lot of options to choose from. We love sushi, so this place was on our list! Colorful ambiance throughout with different decor that makes you want to look around and take on all in. And of course, friendly service from the staff from the time we arrived and throughout our entire dining experience. Overall✅✅&✅! Mahalo Sinju Sushi!

This place was great! It’s not really comparable to places like Bamboo cause it’s a vibe of its own. Very futuristic modern interior, fun decor, etc. I get what people are saying about the bathrooms they were pretty dirty but our waitress was the nicest lady and the food was great. They even brought a cake out and lit some candles for my friends birthday!

Best sushi in a 10 mile radius at least. I do not have a better place in mind outside that radius but just to be safe. Great food, everything was perfectly seasoned, with exact right proportions. Interesting decor, ya gotta check out the bathrooms. The service was excellent well, attentive but in no way invasive. I highly recommend!

Delicious place! Very high quality food for a decent price point if you don’t get the more expensive items. However, that being said, it can get pricey if you’re planning to get more than a simple bite or two. The quality is fresh so I recommend it. Very cool inside, the location at Bridgeport mall is fancy with red lights, and a fireplace. I went on a Friday and it was very crowded and loud, and I wouldn’t say very covis friendly as the tables are far too close together to be safe. My friend and I spent 40 on 2 roles and a shared appetizer, and the roles were basic, spicy salmon and spicy tuna but delicious! I recommend them! We also shared the tuna poke/Seaweed salad salad plate which was delicious but it wasn’t a huge portion. Enough to snack on and be hungry 2 to 3 hours later, but if you aren’t too hungry perfect amount and within reasonable price range. Worth going and experiencing for yourself! The wait time on the Friday we went for 2 people was about 35 minutes even though they said 20 minutes. Our server was friendly and attentive enough so that was nice!

The food was barely passable this evening, unfortunately. I’ve had good food here before but today it was gross. The tempura vegetables were soggy, and greasy with some of the vegetables over cooked and yet oddly some were also undercooked (?how?) the salmon rolls tasted like they had been sitting around for hours and the Katsu chicken was over cooked and so tough we could barely eat it. The wait staff was excellent though!!

We got a couple of tuna bowls, the Hawaiian and the seared tuna bowl. We also got a couple of miso soups, salmon nigiri, and creamy scallops. The lighting in the restaurant was almost a yellow color, a very warm coloring. The only thing that bothered me about a place that charges $9 for two salmon nigiris was their restroom. The wall behind the toilet is covered with a floor-to-ceiling mirror. The bathrooms are unisex, so there was splatter behind the toilet and all over the mirror. It looks like it has not been cleaned for a while. It looked like the splatter had been collecting for a while.

Other than the front of house being very dismissive and oblivious to what was going on we enjoyed our time and meal here. Once seated we were gracious greeted by a wonderful server. Food was fast and very fresh and delicious. Will be back.
