Wow! What a wonderful surprise! Fantastic food! My wife and I live in Cortez and have passed by Slickers for a while now. Not again. We loved the food, correctly portioned and originally flavored! Truly one of the best meals we’ve had anywhere in the area. Great drinks too!

Loved this place! The cocktails were tasty and original. The menu was diverse, and everything tasted great. We brought our toddler and were seated next to an aquarium, which she LOVED! Our only note is that the appetizers were pretty small for the price. Entrees were more fairly portioned.

We decided to try Slicker’s Eatery today. Boy am I glad we did! What a cute little restaurant. The wait staff were awesome, attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious! We had the crab cake sandwich with potato salad. The sandwich was absolutely perfect. The potato salad…well, let’s just say I’d pay for that recipe. It was unique and wonderful. Then the server suggested the berry bread pudding. Unreal! So good! We will be back very soon. They had a Bloody Mary bar today but we had to drive and couldn’t indulge. Next time we will! SANDY 01 Sport Fishing “Chef”
Fantastic bites and elevated cocktails hidden in Cortez Cove. We had SANDY 01 pulled for a bottom job and sonar at the marina and were looking for a snack. We golf carted over and were very impressed. Go here.

Nestled away on west Cortez Road hides this quaint little eatery. Staff was very friendly and attentive and the venue was lively. They cater more to the craft drink & small plate crowd and while the food was very flavorful the portions sizes were small for the price ($5 for (5) potato slices and $14 for a Cuban sandwich ). They also offered vegan and vegetarian options which is nice if that’s your thing. For our preference it was probably closer to a 2 or 3 star rating but it’s not fair to them to stick them with a mediocre review based on subjectivity. Nothing specifically not great, just not our ideal spot. Looking for small plate fare, give ‘em a shot.

This was our first time here tonight. The food, drinks and service were all amazing! We had two little ones with us and we sat in a semi private area right by the aquarium which was fun for the kids. We tried several small plates to share and a Cubano sandwich. It was hard to choose because they all looked so good. Great specialty cocktails! The owner is super friendly and nice to talk to as well.

First time my wife and I have been here. Everything was great. We had the seared ahi tuna crostini, filet sliders, beef Bradenton and the shrimp blt. Food and service was excellent. We sat at the bar and Max was top-notch. Can’t wait to go back.
