Worst place in Chicago to eat. Cashier registered our order differently from what we have ordered. Soda machine had no ice because ice maker was turned off and I had to tell cashier about it, they could not fix until we finish eating. Employees laughing on my face because I rush my little kid cheeseburger once they made a mistake serving us a kids nuggets that was never ordered, as if the wrong one was me, depressive. A sadly and badly experience in a place that based on my experience I would never recommend. Very poor customer service. And the saddest thing is like going to dine with your family and have to get stressed to make things work as it should. All me and my family wanted to was have something to eat in peace. I couldn’t even eat my lunch because I just lost my appetite.

So this is my third time at Smashburger. This time I came when it first opened. I ordered frim my phone, and was told that my food would be ready in 10 minutes, and YAY, it was. Granted, there was nobody else in the restaurant except for the workers. My food was ready simultaneously (burger and onion straws) and it was all hot. The restaurant was clean, as was the bathroom.

Recommend: I would come again. Got the double brisket, Colorado burger, and fried onions. The service was a bit slow but expected for the number of orders they had come in. The burgers were really good, the fried onions were really salty.

Had a really good fast-food style burger here. The quality of ingredients does make up for the elevated price. It’s also significantly cheaper than 5 guys. It’s really going to come down to preference on whether you like the taste of this or other competing restaurants but the quality was there. Not a big fan of the garlicky fries, I’d rather just have a more classic taste. I do recommend skipping the tots and going with the fries though.

Absolutely worst customer service experience EVER! The manager Rose, made a customer (a friend) a shake after the cashier told me they were out of them. After I asked her why, she began to argue with me with a lot of aggression. She then intentionally overcooked my burger, which was the worst I’ve ever had. I will not recommend this restaurant to NO ONE and will plaster on my fb page where I have nearly 5k followers. Sadly, I work at the attached London House and will suggest our guests go elsewhere and I will always remind them of the bad experience I had there.
