My cousin and I had the pleasure of visiting this cute spot today.

I schedule my work commute around their everyday soup offerings. In addition to the 8 tureens on the counter, awesome soups from upto a couple days ago are in the fridge display in pint and quart containers. Sandwiches and ice cream also very good. YES they are open everyday.

Really really good soup! They have a couple soups that they offer every day, and then a bunch of rotating soups. The prices & portions are more than reasonable. Everyone is super friendly. Cute little setup inside where there are some books & coloring materials for the kids to read while waiting. There’s also a to-go case with some salads & refrigerated soups.

I cherish my punch card, and look forward to checking every Sunday to see the week’s menu of soups. When there’s a chill in the air, I know where I will be stopping at least twice a week.

The soups that we tried were both good chicken chili with white navy bean and the beef barley. On the other hand the Italian Panini we had didn’t taste too good not sure if it was the cheese or the Dijon mustard.

So many soups to choose from, and all are delicious. They have soups for different dietary needs, e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten free. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate that they will check the ingredients for you.

I was bringing my husband home from the hospital after having major surgery. The doctors suggested light meals. Thankfully I remembered this place. It was my first time there and I have to say the young lady on the phone was wonderful. We got 3 different soups and they were all deliciously homemade. Thanks for helping me focus on his care and not have to worry about making homemade soup.

The staff is very friendly but the offerings are a little confusing. Soup and ice cream, yes, but they are open at 8am through the week so we went for coffees and breakfast sandwiches thinking it would be a cafe vibe. The cappuccino machine wasn’t on and the person didn’t know how to work it, and the cold brew seemed to be concentrated and needed to be diluted but wasn’t, it was soooo strong. No amount of milk would change the black color of the cold brew which I have never experienced with cold brew before. There isn’t a serve yourself station for the coffee (cream and sugar) and no dedicated cash register or menu. I really want to like this place but I don’t understand the breakthrough to coffee/breakfast and early open time when it seems nobody knows how to make a coffee or what the exact offerings are. They are right next to the train station and there are no other coffee shops in the area so it seems like it could be a really great stop for people in the mornings but I don’t think people are getting soup and ice cream at 8am before work?

Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Salt and cornstarch are the main two ingredients in all of their soups but the broth and chili. If you like a gloopy mess though, this place is for you.
