I absolutely love love love this food no complaints but what I don’t like is being charged a different amount each time I pay a visit to this establishment even though I purchase the same exact thing every time. I was aware of the surcharge if using debit or credit which is why I bring cash to avoid any surcharges. This is why I was taken aback when I was charged a surcharge for using cash. I want to continue to patronize this establishment but I’m skeptical due to its sketchy practices.

My first time visiting the food server was handling food with no gloves on and touching money, I asked him was go wash his hands he just looked at me. I told my friend who works for the board of Health. I like the food but I don’t want dirty hands touching my food that I paid for. This is unsanitary. If I see this again the owners will not be happy with the next action taken.

When I say this place never disappoints, it can never skip a beat. Use to be here all the time, made me feel amazing during my pregnancy (Egusi Soup). When I moved out of Chicago there was not going to be restaurants like this there. (There are no cultural restaurants).

I wish I could post this review with 0 stars. This restaurant doesn’t believe in the term customer service. I have been a frequent customer but after my experience today it will be my last. They made a mistake on my order which I notified them about immediately fast forward to today after driving 7 miles to get the correct item I paid for I asked for a new order to replace what wasn’t eaten yesterday due to their error. They basically told me since there was nothing wrong with my EFO I was not entitled to a new soup just the correct fufu which I had paid for via my delivery so they weren’t doing me any favors. Lesson to the owners you cannot survive with poor customer service you need to explain to the staff that it only takes one bad experience to give the wrong impression and that is what today was for me.
