This place is a hole in the wall in the best way. The food was delicious and the service was fast. We had the lamb gyros for $6.25 each. They’re a bit on the small side, but it’s fair given how cheap the price was. We ended up going back for seconds because the food was so good. Will definitely be back.

Best Gyro in The NRV! On the campus of VT, so you must pay to park unless your doing a to-go order. Food was extremely fresh, plus you can watch them fix your meal. The staff were polite and very helpful. An outside eating spot as well, so that made the experience even better. I recommend this small corner restaurant to anyone to anyone near the VT area.

Great gyros, great prices. Place hasn’t changed much in 30 years. Not fancy but probably the best quick meal in Blacksburg. Baklava is legit and well worth it if you want dessert.

Souvlaki is amazing – the food is off the charts. It’s amazing – when you walk in, it’s like entering a time warp. They still have the old fashioned menu board with the plastic letters. Nice little selection of beers as well.

I don’t agree with the other reviews saying it’s not a lot for the price – the quantity felt fine. The quality however is something else – it’s pretty bland and dry. No salt anywhere (yes, there’s salt on the table, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be used when cooking). I had the gyro, falafel, and curly fries. The best tasting thing was the ketchup.

We got the chicken kabob and the gyro pita wrap w beef, so so good! Absolutely recommend this place, food was fresh and tasty, people who served us were friendly and we loved the antique vibe to the place. Definitely coming back!

Souvlaki is like a hole-in-the-wall bar that serves greek food. i mean that in the best way possible. it’s very genial or familiar. you sort of seem like you’ve been in there 100 times on your first visit. The owner knows everyone that walks in.
