Third location of St. Nicholas Brewery. The brewery will has a 75-seat restaurant and 30-foot bar overlooking the runway. An additional 50 seats are available on a patio next to the runway. A brewery operation is located along the front of the terminal building. The only active brewery in a general aviation airport.

Overall the food was fantastic. The marriage of flavors was just perfect. The wait for the food on the other hand was less than stellar. The food outweighed the 2 hour lunch. I went with the shrimp and grits. Flavor on flavor. My wife went with the tres tacos. My son had the poutine. My daughter had the loaded nachos with chicken. My grandson had a side of fries and bacon. I snagged a fry. They were really tasty.

Had the chicken tacos, they were good not great, to much cheese and sauce. The chips and salsa were perhaps the best I have ever had in my life! And I tried all 12 beers and they were all amazing! And watching the planes landing and taking off was really neat. 1st time here and most definitely not the last! Nice job

This was our first visit to St Nicholas Brewing at the Southern Illinois Airport. And it won’t be our last! The food was excellent! We had a burger and it was big and juicy like a good burger should be. The cauliflower wings were tasty! As always, the St. Nicholas beer selection and quality didn’t disappoint. The service was fast and friendly.

St Nicholas has very prompt service and great food! I had the fish and chips with a French 75 and a Wee Heavy Scotch Strong which was delicious! My boys had burgers and my husband had a fried fish sandwich which looked so good! The prices were very reasonable. We also had the opportunity to watch a few planes take off which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

This is a nice place inside the Southern IL Airport terminal. Perfect day to eat outside & watch the SIU air traffic. Burgers were very good. It is the only microbrewery located at an airport in the USA. Someone else will need to report on their beer as we did not have any.

What pilot doesn’t love a good airport restaurant! The view is scenic & peaceful on the patio. The $100 burger was delicious, and the beer was also great (I’m the navigator). The building is clean & up-to-date. I would recommend a visit!
