The best way to describe this location would be, a clear cut above the fast food experience.

How I love steak and shake, but this experience will go down as me never wanting it again. The whole store smells like a dirty grease pit. Food tasted about the same. Took 20 min to get my food. No, no one else was inside ordering when I was. Food was just gross. Fries cold. Forgot half my stuff so the “GM” had to check order, which further delayed me getting it. Sadly she was the one who made it in the first place. She was not kind or apologized for forgetting 3 items I paid for either and ok with walking away leaving my bag just sitting on the prep counter while I waited even longer. Way too many staff in there to how poorly this was run. Of course the problem is clearly the GM. Someone needs to give her customer service lessons along with adding some pep in her step and social tone should not be on the job when customers are waiting. Oh and my $1 cheese sauce I had tj wait for was not even half full.

OK, I figured out why I have only eaten at this place less than 3 times in my life. The burgers are GREASY!!! I mean, damn! Plus they have no flavor. And I have no idea what that chemical taste is with those fries. I love a good shoestring fry, but this wasn’t it. The service was excellent for a drive thru at a fast food spot, so no complaints there.

The food is definitely worth the wait. My husband and I split the barbecue bacon double cheeseburger I wish we would have gotten our own. I got a Snickers milkshake and my husband got a strawberry milkshake, whick mine was good but he didn’t care for his much.

The food was good but the whole restaurant has changed. We had to order at a kiosk and couldn’t figure out how to substitute different things on our burgers. We didn’t receive cups until our food was ready, so we sat there for 15-20 mins with nothing. All the tables were dirty.

I hadn’t been to a Steak N Shake since before COVID. The indoor dining had been closed for that whole time. When I walked in, I noticed immediately things were different. No longer were there servers, but it has sadly become just another fast food place, just more fancy. You order on kiosks now. And you get your own drinks from a soda machine. And you seat yourself. They took away the whole classic restaurant experience. It breaks my heart as a long time patron. The staff here were very helpful. My burger and fries were perfect. I ordered a kids grilled cheese to go for my daughter. While I am sad to see the servers gone, I still enjoy the food here.

Slow, soured sweet tea, took 25 minutes to get 3 chicken tenders and fries. No one maintains the dining room. Only the gentleman who made the shakes was responsive to needs of customers. We had our shakes in 5 minutes.

We’ve gone here for lunch and milkshakes before. It has a long waiting time. There were several booths and they couldnt bother to clean them but rather offer a bigger table. On top of that the tables weren’t cleaned A few minutes later there was a huge line and uncleaned booths. To their credit the staff are friendly and atmosphere is good but your ability to work should be a priority. It took so long to get our drinks that eventually hailey’s comet came back. The cherry limeade was actually a Sprite with a bunch of cherry syrup, Very little lime. This of course made my stomach sick thinking it was a limeade with a little cherry. When the food came the food was actually good except for the lack of onions on a burger advertised with at least more than two freaking onions. We would have played at the crane machines but with this lunch, we lost already. However a quick stop for milkshakes prove successful with a fairly long 20 minute wait, which is fantastic compared to this. If you want lunch at 1:30 you have to arrive at 1:00. The solutions to this is getting here at a time google tells you it is not busy or coming here for a quick milkshake.

During this covid 19 time they have completely closed the seating area inside. The drive through, curbside and app orders are in full effect. Your order is prepared when you order so it comes to you hot and fresh. Would have given 5 stars but my order was a little wrong. Not sure if it was the speaker or the person themselves that didn’t get my order 100%. Spoke with management and she made it RIGHT. Just had to wait that extra time.
