At Stella’s you’ll find authentic Greek cuisine in a cozy setting. We ordered the braised lamb shank and the kotopoulo, which were both delicious. The pasta that accompanied the lamb was cooked perfectly, and the portions are very generous. Be sure to take a bottle of their signature olive oil home with you! Parking is available at a deck about a block away.

I have been to Stella’s a few times and it never disappoints. The plates are always so delicious and they do a great job staying authentic to Greek cuisine. I couldn’t believe how big the pasta portions were. No one at our table could finish! My favorite dessert from here is the flourless chocolate torte. It’s unbeatable for me!

Great meal. Everything came out hot and fresh. Service was friendly although a little too fast, probably our fastest meal in Charleston. The cocktails were enjoyable and the atmosphere comfortable. Only real complaint was that our table for two was teeny-tiny so we were stacking items on top of each other. I’d suggest ordering one course at a time otherwise you’ll have to do the same. Overall we enjoyed the food and drink and would definitely go back.

We had been wanting to go to Stella’s for a long time and finally got there and it wasn’t what we were hoping for. We were seated right away for an early diner. Nice setting and very clean; started out perfect. We came for the octopus which was perfectly cooked. We also ordered moussaka and lamb shank, but they were out of shank and ended up with leg of lamb. The moussaka had great flavor, but the bottom meat layer was over cooked. I expected hand sliced leg of lamb, but was serve what appeared to be warmed up sliced cold cuts.

Went to the restaurant the day before the 4th of July and it was fantastic! There was a live, friendly atmosphere, and the server was excellent and attentive. And though there were a ton of people in the restaurant, I would have never known with the high quality of service the server provided. I have never had Greek food before, but this place definitely steps up to the plate with great food and dishes I’ve never had before. Definitely will go back to try more!

This location is not on the same plane as Richmond. It has an odd layout. Most of the front section reminded me of an “upscale” lunch counter. The service was outstanding! Ordered the spinakopita/tiropita app which was excellent. Lite flaky and well cooked with just enough filing. Got the chicken souvlaki dinner while another ordered a bowl of avgolemono soup. Start with the good – the soup was hearty with ample chicken and rice with a slight lemon aftertaste. The souvlaki dish was a disaster. Five small bite sized pieces of charred chicken mixed on a plate with scattered veggies. Plate presentation was completely overpowered by large potatoe wedges. Never had issue at Richmond. I will explore other places in Charleston on next visit.

We were in Charleston for a few days and wanted to try something different. What a very pleasant surprise. We were fortunate to get seated right away. The menu had a nice selection of authentic Greek choices. We had a salad which was served in gigantic bowl that was overflowing and also the moussaka. The moussaka had a bit too much cinnamon for our taste but was a large portion and seemed to be well crafted. The service was very good. The decor and atmosphere were perfect. The location was great and though the area was busy, we found parking pretty close by. We would definitely return next time we are in Charleston.

We sat at the bar which is the majority of the seating. I tried the special and it was excellent.
