I’ve been here once before a couple years back but during their dinner hours. I wasn’t at all satisfied with the service then, but coming here a second time around for brunch made me rethink the service. I wish I can remember our waiter’s name, but he was great! We had a party of 9 and ordered their bottomless mimosas (cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice was provided). I ordered their Avocado and Egg Toast. I enjoyed the food, but of course their mimosas were fantastic! Great scenery, service was a bit better than my first experience, I’d recommend this place as an “by occasion” spot since their prices are very high up there.

I went to STK Chicago on April 4, 2022 for Chicago Restaurant Week. I was craving steak and have never been to this place before. The service is an A+. My friend and I had Kevin as our server and Joshua also came by to refill water or check on us. All in all, it is only ok. Beware, everything is extra. The steaks are a la carte and you pay per side. So if you didn’t know that, you’re welcome. I did the chicago restaurant week menu and did all the upgrades. I think having to pay $5 extra for the lil brgs was not ok. Especially since the appetizers on the restaurant week menu kind of lacked. They were delicious! I would’ve liked a bit more cook on them, but they were good. The steak, i upgraded to the ribeye for $10 additional dollars, i added 6 grilled shrimp(which are $6 a piece), and i added a mac and cheese for $10. I also added the Parmesan truffle fries for another $10. The basic restaurant week starts at $55 per person, and any add on costs. My friend had the same thing I did, except she had bacon mac and cheese (which isnt included in restaurant week so she had to pay $21 to add it on since that is the normal cost of the side). The ribeye was okay. I have had ribeye at other places and they werent as fatty or gristly. For the cost of your steak, you expect it to be trimmed a bit better. The mac and cheese was okay. Im used to a blend of cheeses. White, cheddar, etc. This seemed more white cheddar than anything. Which wasn’t my taste. The fries are less fries, more thick cut slices. I didnt get any truffle flavor, and the Parmesan was the equivalent of what you get from the store. You know the kraft kind. I wasnt impressed. The grilled shrimp was super perfect! The flavor was amazing. The steak, at least was cooked perfectly. It lacked flavor, but after paying for all my upgrades, i didnt also want to pay extra for a flavored butter. I had the apple crumble for dessert. It was like apple filling with a cinnamon crumble and a small scoop of ice cream. The dj is the best! The music was great. I do like the atmosphere here, a lot! They did a great job with how they decorated and created the perfect ambiance. All in all, it was okay. Im not dying to go back. And if i do go back, i’d stay at the bar and order drinks and the lil brgs(maybe) and then move on to another place for food. There are better steak joints in chicago. I think you pay for the name of this place. Not so much the good food.

Came here for an anniversary dinner, it was just ok. Good music, food and drinks. Nice ambiance as well. We asked the guy at the door a few questions and he pretty much gave one word answers, not helpful at all. You have to order everything upon arrival to the table (apps, drinks, main course etc) which was different. Right as we started on our appetizer and salads, our main courses were brought out and it was not easy to fit everything on our small table. Multiple staff came to our table throughout our meal so it was difficult to hold a conversation as we kept getting interrupted. Didn’t quite know what to expect as we were visiting from out of town but probably won’t be returning.

Let’s start her the musics was good so was the atmosphere everything else horrible. My mom and I went here for her birthday this past Saturday. This place is not worth the price. My food was over cooked they had no air conditioning during 80 degree weather our waiter was rude and not attentive. When ask about the air conditioning the told us they had to move it to another area of the restaurant the another waiter came over and said the air conditioner was broke this place is a joke it was so hot my legs was sticking to the leather sit. The food was not worth the expensive prices we spent over 400 dollars just to sweat and for flies to fly around our food I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Let’s start here. The atmosphere is nice, very nice for pictures they had a DJ and he played nice music. Now the food truffles fries, no salt, salmon with broccoli, no salt. In the restaurant, the AC was out, and it was very hot while eating. Prices are very high for the quality of food, and i will not be back.

STK CHI was a vibe! Great music and atmosphere. Our server David was fantastic and very helpful! Our food and drinks came out super fast and it was all delicious, especially the watermelon specialty cocktail – shout out to Chef Will for the good eats. Would definitely recommend when visiting Chicago.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, and environment made you want to keep coming back. We recently celebrated our 16 year anniversary and it was the best dining experience we’ve had. Food was so good its hard to describe in words. We shared the tomahawk with truffle butter, and the Wagyu Lil Brgrs were so tasty. We will definitely be back. They even hand out free shots!

A mixed experience, but overall worth the trip. First of all, the food was absolutely amazing, done to perfection. Where I started to have trouble was the table I had, it wobbled and each cut I made on the steak felt like my wine glass would fall to the floor. Staff tried to fix it, but it was beyond repair. The manager comped my drinks, thank you Sir.

I know it’s a steakhouse but if you have lobster linguini on the menu… I had to try it. I was a bit disappointed did not have the wow factor that I was looking for it needed more sauce and lobster. I should have had the steak. The sides were delicious mashed potatoes and tater tots were spectacular. Honorable mention for the Mac and cheese. My granddaughter is tiny so the little sliders were enough for her and she claimed she would definitely order again. Waiter and staff awesome hats off to them.
