Disgusting with a capital D! I ordered a 2 piece lake trout sandwich, fries, seafood salad. No seasoning what so ever. It tasted like they pulled the fish out of the ocean, put a little cornmeal on it a deep fried it ( it taste just as raw fish smell) the seafood salad was nasty and topped with a lot of parsley..I was very disappointed because I haven’t been to this place in over 20yrs ( I actually didn’t know it still existed) I always remembered this place as having the best seafood on that side of town! I was coming into town from New England and had the need for collard greens and hush puppies. I also got cabbage for good measure. I got the smaller portions of each, which filled me right up! And holy cow, they were all fantastically delicious!!! I don’t eat collard greens a lot so I don’t have much to compare it to, but they were cooked well and had a wonderful flavor. The cabbage was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper. The hush puppies were sweet, salty, crispy, and went so well with the veggies (and there are 6 in the “small” portion!) Thank you so much!

Horrible! Their crabs have no meat inside of them and they try and sale customers female crabs in deception as if they’re male crabs but they are not. They ask you to pay first before you can see the crabs and once you’ve paid and the crabs are done you’ll notice that they aren’t what you ordered. Of the males look like what we had I would hate to see what the females look like. “Highway robbery” Stuart’s ought to be ashamed of theirselves. Never again!

Stewart’s has delicious crabs, brought in fresh everyday!! I have been driving out to Mechanicsville to get blue crabs from them for the last few years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! You all rock! Fresh or steamed they are my Go To !!

I got a lake trout fish sandwich and as I was eating it I was getting an ammonia taste which means it wasn’t fresh. Also I got a $5 shrimp cocktail and when I got home and I smelled it before I ate it and it stank so bad. I won’t be going there again.
