The older woman who works there was very ugly to my son’s friend for waiting in the hall for me to finish using the restroom. We were going to eat there but we left because I felt she racial profiled him and was rude telling him we could not use the bathroom and to leave hallway. Disgusting behavior!!!! He’s the most amazing kid I know! FYI. They have dine-in so it’s required to allow use of the bathroom. I am sure she knew that. She just did it like him standing back there. Mr. Sonny seemed nice. I don’t blame him for her actions. It looks like he has good reviews.

Saw this deli as I was leaving a massage in the building and decided to give it a try. I went with the catfish platter based on a quick Google review search and I was NOT disappointed. The fish was fried perfectly and seasoned well. Green beans were also extremely well seasoned. The potato salad reminds me of the potato salad I get at Korean BBQ spots and was good, but I prefer Southern style potato salad so I think I’ll try a different side next time. I’m looking forward to going back to try other items on the menu!

The fish here is outstanding. I’ve had both the whiting and the tilapia, and both were cooked to perfection. The coating is thin and crispy, not greasy, and doesn’t overpower the fish. Tried the shrimp, which is butterflied; it was good but nothing special. Of all the sides I’ve tried, the yams are my favorite followed by the hush puppies. The fries are standard frozen and the mashed potatoes are too salty. But the generous portions of fish make up for everything. Will definitely be going back.
