Holy buckets of saucy goodness! This family owned & operated restaurant is cozy & warm. We were greeted by a nice young man ready to take our orders. Ample portions of brisket were moist & delicious! & Sauce? The 3 spicy flavors that we tried were excellent! So much so we bought some XX to take home! I loved the flavor of the Mac ‘n Cheese!

Ok for starters, being a Kansas City native, I know my BBQ. This place was by far one of the best places I’ve been to, out of Kansas City. The man who took our order was very polite and helpful with answering all the many questions we had. The service was fast and the food was fresh and delicious! Definitely bookmarking this place to out of town visits in the future!

Neat little restaurant downtown Fairfield. Great service and food was very good! BBQ fries with chicken was awesome. Big portions and cooked fast too. Staff was friendly and was very gracious when we came in late shortly before they closed. I will be back!

I’ve only been here 3 times but every time I’ve walked away happy. Today I got the chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese. The chicken is cooked to order so it’s not sitting under a heat lamp unlike other places in town. The chicken was juicy and had great flavor. Every time I come here, I get the Mac n cheese and it’s amazing. Cheesy and creamy. As it should be . Wait time was decent and the prices are fair . Will definitely be coming back.

Came here because of all of the gluten free options marked on the online menu. Arrived to see only a few sides on the menu marked gluten free. I was incredibly disappointed and was only able to get a hamburger patty with cheese, no bun.

I walked thirty minutes to this restaurant and thirty minutes back, when I got back to my destination I open my food to eat my full order of ribs, they were burnt and dried out. I was very disappointed. I called and complained and the young lady told her manager, he said I could come get a refund but it was to hot to take that walk.

This place was really great! Great customer service, great food, chill atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and go tonight. All the sauces were fun to try, I like the XX spicier one the best. The fried pickles were perfect! My lady love liked the waffle fries, as did I. I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely phenomenal smokehouse barbeque. The ribs are to die for, but they only serve them on weekends, so be sure to order the burnt ends instead. They were out of smoked turkey that day, too. I would’ve loved to try that. The pulled pork, brisket, & chicken are also amazing. Everything is fresh, made right there in house, even their 8+ amazing sauces which you will want to sample all of. If you’re passing through Fairfield, or visiting the American Gothic House, definitely stop in and get some of this mouthwatering barbeque!
