We’re not from the area so finding this place was a little difficult. However the food was great. Cooked fresh and delicious. They were out of ice but luckily we had some in our vehicle. I assume they are just starting out with a physical location but I pray they’re able to expand into a bigger location one day. We enjoyed our visit. Had the seafood & grits with blackened fish and the Pontchartrain express. Service was great as well.

Oh my stars!!! This was the best food I’ve eaten! Eating the slice of strawberry cake translated me to the very presence of Jesus. I had the catfish plate, loaded ranch fries, and my husband got the NYO-Club. I can’t sing praises enough to the gift these wonderful people have. Service and atmosphere was amazing! We were only traveling but I so wish we could be regulars here!

Found them on Google, liked the reviews so we stopped in. We are so glad we did, the whole family agreed they were the best wings we’ve ever had and the boudain egg rolls were top notch. Will make a habit of stopping anytime were near Gonzales now. Wish I could rate it 10 stars. Also our waitress/server was so sweet and helped us with recommendations. Been craving the sweet tea and wings since I left!

Cozy tucked away restaurant. My daughter came for the oxtails but we didn’t see them on the menu. We also ordered boudin egg rolls which were not available and substituted with seafood bread. I was a little out off because of the imitation crab meat. However it would have been pretty good but the seasoning sprinkled on top was salty. If you have any sodium restrictions this will not be the best place. My daughter says the gumbo was good but a little salty. She also had catfish pontchartrain top with fried shrimp. Again stated the friend shrimp was salty. I had the waffles and chicken wings. The waffle was a little under cooked for me and the wings were a little salty also. I really go out for the dessert but they didn’t serve desserts. The lemonade was a 10 out of 10. This will be a one trip stop for me. Not really worth the 70 plus bucks.

We ate out on the patio because they were only doing curbside service, pick up and patio dining. We had the spicy brown sugar wings for our appetizer. They came out hot and fresh and very tasty. My husband had the NYO club sandwich with fries that he really enjoyed. I had the white beans with pork chop, greens, potatoes salad and corn muffin. Everything was delicious, with the exception of the greens. They were just not to my liking. But everything else was on point. We will definitely be eating here again. The service was good also. (Husband sandwich was almost gone, so no pic).

This was my first time here, I stumbled upon it, looking for soup in the area. They are ducked off but nice atmosphere, clean and nice music. The food tasted amazing (best toast I’ve ever had). My only issue was being upcharged. It wasn’t until I viewed my receipt later that I saw my items were entered under a custom amount, and it didn’t match the menu. No doubt the food was worth it, but I’d appreciate knowing if there’s a change in the price up front.

I ordered the NYO club to-go for the first time. It says it comes on a crossaint type bread and has maple pepper bacon on it. When I got it, it was on a brioche bun (it’s fine just not what was listed) and it was plain bacon bits (not even real strips of bacon). If the menu says something I expect that to be what I receive. I was disappointed. All of the food looks so good on the pictures online but sadly this wasn’t the case for me. Also it was hard to locate and the door you walk in is around a corner where you can’t see the sign, just FYI.
