Great friendly, homely place with big portions. Lengua tacos were delicious and combos are good value. However, we were charged for chips and salsa, which we did not order but were given as we sat down. EDIT: sadly as much as I liked this place, I apologize. I have to reduce my rating as my friend who ate with me here got severe food poisoning a few hours later and had not eaten anything else that day. Even though it was delicious, please look over your safety standards here.

Happy little accident. My husband and I were planning on going to serai that is across the street but annoyingly they are closed on mondays! So we went here instead because we got to eat and we were not disappointed. Our meals were very tasty and with the right amount of spice. We shared the queso fundido and I had the enchiladas with chorizo. My husband had the carne asada. The only critique he has is that his was topped with a little too much cactus. And we both wanted more rice because it was yummy. Even the refried beans were tasty. The waitress was really friendly and the food came out quick. Would order from here again

The tacos were flavorful, the guacamole left a lot to be desired. It was far from its sister restaurant los comales #3 when it came to spices. They definitely served me avocado dip, what they lacked with the appetizer they more than made up for with the margaritas. I enjoyed two lemon margaritas. They were so deliciously sweet that you didn’t taste the tequila which made them all the more easy to drink. The only drawback is you can’t take them off the premises. Beware they were just really well made they in fact contained enough alcohol to get you tipsy if you’re a moderate drinker. All in all I would go back for the drinks and skip any extra sides. Also the ketchup and mustard bottles are in fact red and green salsa.

Meh. Did like the tableside hot peppers and carrots though. Latenight hours are nice, but I have had better enchiladas. Nice ladies at the counter. Friendly. 3 stars is for the food itself. Just okay.

Bomb tacos and tortas. Always practice my Spanish in here and they never correct how bad it is so I appreciate that. They have really good milkshakes also chocolate, banana, strawberry and aveno which means oats. Enjoy the sunny spots by the windows too. Taco deals are pretty good too you can get like 30 for $80 or something like that. Family biz too I am pretty sure.
