Good place to get freshly made Mexican food. I think of it as a food truck but in a restaurant. It’s all self-service . CASH ONLY! Don’t miss the rice pudding!!

My friends and I stopped by on a Saturday evening, and it was pretty packed, though we were luckily able to get seated immediately. Once seated, we got some complimentary carrots and peppers, which had a pleasant sour / pickled flavor.

Super fast service, their barbacoa taco was really good, the atotonilco taco was good but is not my favorite, I feel like the sour cream took away from it and finally the chorizo taco, they serve it with lettuce & tomato which I was not expecting and the chorizo needed to be cook some more.

Highlight of our trip to Chicago. Prices were a little higher than expected. However, the tacos were loaded with 2x the meat compared to tacos back home, so it makes sense from a value standpoint. Excellent flavor, tortillas were fresh and didn’t fall apart while eating, food was brought out shockingly fast, and horchata was . The pickled carrots were a pleasant surprise.

Great tacos in Little Village! They have a huge menu with so many taco meat options. My favourites were the Al Pastor and the chicken but you won’t go wrong with anything on this menu. Make sure to try out the Horchata too!

The fact I didn’t have time to take pictures says a lot. Once I started eating I couldn’t stop. For starters the steak tacos were amazing, and what’s funny is they come with lettuce and tomato which for me is strange but it absolutely works. Overall an amazing experience.

Hands down our favorite torta place in the States (all of the states) 🙂 — homemade pickled carrots and jalapenos are amazing too!

The food is always delicious and the service is FAST. They are known for their tacos de Al Pastor and they don’t disappoint. I personally ask for the sauce on the side because it’s spicy but the rest of my fam gets it as it comes. The all natural and fresh milk shakes and fruit smoothes are a must! I only give 4 stars because I think their 47th and Kedzie location has better seasoning on their steak tacos. Huge plus is that they have a parking lot right accross the restaurant!

Tacos are tasty. Prices are high compared to other taco establishments. Wait time not long at all. Great salsas.

This place seems to be extremely popular, but we didn’t have to wait too long for a table on a Sunday afternoon. Fair warning, they only take cash, but there’s an ATM inside. I only explored tacos: Carne asada was super juicy and you could tell it was a quality cut of strak. Al Pastor had a great spice and flavor. Barbacoa was very boring and one-dimensional. Huevo was pretty good and exactly what you’d expect. They load you up on meats, so that justifies their prices being a little higher than the average street taco. The pickled carrot garnish plate was also an unexpected star; I could eat those by themselves all day. If I find myself here again, I’ll definitely explore more of the menu and probably stick to the asada and al pastor. Very friendly and positive folks are running the show here!
