Awesome place for some quality Mediterranean food. The veg combo plate was delish (the tabbouleh and hummus were particular highlights!) and the chicken pita was unreal (absolutely packed with grilled + fresh veg and perfectly cooked chicken ). For sure a staple spot for wonderful Greek food!

The food here was absolutely delicious! We came with a group that totaled 13 people last night. Everyone ordered different things: salads, hummus, gyros, fried zucchini, salmon. So many wonderful choices and everyone loved their meals. We were so happy that we selected this place to meet with this big group. The service was great. You place your order at the counter and your food is delivered to the table. The server/cashier was a really pleasant young lady. She was very polite and helpful. We will be back. The gyro meat was tender, juicy and very flavorful!

We have been to Taverna in Flagstaff, AZ several times.. I am unsure whether or not they are related but because the one in Arizona was so good we decided to try this and we were very happy! We’ve ordered twice, and the food is always delicious and fresh with very generous portions! Definitely our go to for Greek food!!

100% the best take-out salad I’ve ever ordered. Nice fresh salad with combo of gyro and grilled chicken- yes! There is no skimping on anything and it is delicious! I got the feta fries to balance out the salad and they’re as good as they sound. Highly recommend! Will be going back soon.

Ever since our favorite Greek restraunt Nikos closed, we have been on the hunt for a new place. We tried Shaks Mediterranean and wasn’t impressed so we tried Taverna. It definitely is in our top three places in north county. The food is good, but we will still be on the lookout for other places until we find a replacement for Nikos. The fries were very undercooked but seasoned well.

Ordered the Greek Chicken Salad and it was delicious. The grilled vegetables cooked perfectly the roasted garlic is a burst of flavors . The grilled chicken was juicy and tender . This is my third time eating here and every time the food is amazing. I make sure when I’m in Vista I stop and have lunch . This place is a must .

I was surprised to see the negative reviews I actually have stayed at this hotel 2xs on different occasions and both times both rooms were fully functional everything looked good and worked good as new and in the summer you know good working AC is a must and they have. I’m sorry the other peeps got a bad room I guess I got lucky idk?
