This was my first time visiting Tensai. First of all, I really enjoyed the whole ambience of the place, the lights, the fixtures, the decorations. Everything was really nice, I would consider a nice spot for a romantic sushi date for dinner time. The food it self was also super good. The service was okay, but to be fair it seems like they were short-staffed at the moment. The rolls tasted super fresh, and the presentation was practically perfect. I got the mango roll and it was delicious. Their white rice with chicken was also very good. Would definitely come again. $$

Found a dirty nail in my food that I picked up from the restaurant while I was in the middle of my meal, had to pull the nail out of my mouth. Absolutely disgusting. Restaurant was very inconsiderate and did not even apologize to me, told me that there is nothing they can do because I ordered it from doordash. I proceeded to tell them that I personally picked it up and they proceeded to tell me that they cannot give me a refund. This is a health code violation.

I was sitting for almost 30 minutes and not one waiter came to help. The waiters came and looked at us, however never even hesitated to help us. I walked out and was in disbelief, hopefully everyone else has a good experience with them!:)

Bad service friday night, we were ignored completely and the customers next us. Got up and grabbed there own food from the counter. Waitress and Waiters just standing around. I’m sure it was an off night. But still no excuse for this service.
