We ate at the bar today as there was a 15 minute wait for a table. We loved th bartender, Jenny. She was professional, provided great service quickly, and was extremely friendly at he same time. I had a half rack of ribs which provided a good portion of very flavorful and practically fell off the bones (which we took home to our dogs. My wife had the smothered chicken which was also excellent. The bread at the beginning was hot and seemed have been basted with butter. We had an onion blossom (their equivalent of a blooming onion) which was good but not great. We also really appreciated the great margaritas (which are so good that there really isn’t a need to upgrade the tequila). Would definitely eat here again.

Special shout out about our waiter that night, Austin. Best waiter we have “ever” had “anywhere” in our 73 years. Extremely courteous, on top of everything. Never had to ask for anything . Kept our drinks fresh, stopped by frequently to make sure we were happy with our meal or did we need anything. Did not have to wait fir the bill.

We had miller! I went for the first time for my birthday and I will definitely be coming back! She anticipated everything I needed before I could even ask for it, and she gave us and sample platter! This is my sons and I to go once a month, it’s our treat for ourselves. The Janesville Texas Roadhouse has amazing staff.. very friendly they accommodate you every time.
