Checked out Crab Pad and had a super fun dining experience. Love the seafood boil and I believe this is one of the best seafood boil Chicago. The food is a total flavor fest and the portion sizes are good and easily shareable. Its a BYOB spot and I love their build your own popsicles. We tried the chocolate and peach flavors and liked them both .

Went here for my first seafood boil and it was a bit underwhelming. Not enough seasoning on food to bring out the flavor. The service was great and the music selection was definitely a vibe! The tea lemonades are great for BYOB as well!

Easy and Casual atmosphere. Very good seafood that is cooked to perfection. Casual dining. Family friendly. They give you an apron so you don’t get dirty and they have all the tools for cracking your crabs. Pricey but worth it!

The crab pad is amazing! The food was so damn delicious but the price is bit expensive but it’s worth it. Me and my boyfriend went there yesterday last night, it’s our first time coming in and the food smells the bomb, they give us the apron which is cool, the service was quick, and the food is the explosion of deliciousness! I would recommend come there if your love crabs, and we would come by again at any day anytime!

Omg, I went here twice this month. What a fun, delicious restaurant. The food was hot, mouth watering, and in good amounts as well. You can expect to get a little messy but they provide a bib, napkins, gloves if you want them. Just enjoy it, it’s part of the experience. I tried the shrimp, mussels, cornbread, crab Rangoon, my wife had the snow crab with hers. It was all fantastic. I want to take everyone here. So fun.

The servise, the food, and atmosphere was 100%. It was my friends and I’s first time and the beautiful person (sorry I forgot your name) helped us make the best choices and even gave us a discount. We tried the mix boil sea food my friends also had fried calamari all was perfect. What I loved most was how warm and welcoming the place and people were. Thank for a great experience. Next time I am in Chicago, I’ll make it a point to visit …. 5star worth FS.

Theresa and her team at the The Crab Pad are wonderful. I cannot speak more highly of the quality of service and food provided. We recently partnered with The Crab Pad to host a resident event (seafood boil) and our tenants loved it! If you’re looking for delicious Cajun-style seafood, look no further!

Delicious food! Good quality. love that you have clams. The Cajun boil was so good, not full of oil and seasoning but actual garlic and peppers in there. The variety of vegetables available to add is a nice touch too. I wish there were more spots like this around
