I drove up to Haulover beach and wanted to grab a bite before driving home. Since this is an Orthodox Jewish community many places were closed for the Sabbath- like The Carrot. So be aware for a Saturday.

My food took forever and I missed my window to go to the beach before my flight. The beef was pink inside and I paid 19$ for the steak wrap and it was fatty and not very good cut. Not the best Greek food I have ever had. Friendly staff.

I came here before going to the beach and this place was delicious! I typically do not eat lamb but the way they make it here definitely convinced me. I had the chicken platter with fries that had a special seasoning (“Greek Style”); the fries were crispy golden and everything was fresh. The outdoor seating is very pleasant where you can enjoy the breezy atmosphere.

Great local place, family owned, authentic cuisine. When in doubt, can’t go wrong with the cheese saganaki, spanakopita and lamb gyro sandwich. The staff is friendly and outdoor seating is limited but good for people watching (though traffic noise can get loud at times). Would recommend for lunch if you’re in the area.
