The Greek Spot is awesome! I ordered the Gyro, fries, calamari, and a lamb kabob. The service staff was friendly and very informative. The gyro was cooked to perfection, and the fries were just as good. I have to admit, this is best gyro I’ve ever had!

My friend suggested this place for lunch. I can’t believe this gem was hidden in plain site. Our vegan appetizer was so delicious and big that we were able to bring home most for leftovers. My friend had thr lamb souvlaki which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a falafel sandwich on a pita. I am very picky about falafel, and this did not disappoint with its moist, soft insides. I can’t wait to go back!

Been venturing to the Red Bank location often and have driven past here. After a day of labouring with plenty of scraping and painting…came here for a late dinner. Pita bread comes out freshly seasoned and toasted. I ordered an appetizer which was the octopus and it was delicious. My favourite is the chicken souvlaki platter which is superbly seasoned and filling. Staff are attentive here and go above and beyond!

I am profoundly disappointed by my recent dining experience. It was a “one and done” dining experience. The chicken souvlaki I ordered was inexplicably coated with barbecue sauce, which deviated significantly from the authentic Greek preparation. Furthermore, it was excessively dry, rendering it utterly inedible. As for the brazino dish, while it was satisfactory, it lacked the expected depth of flavors, leaving it rather bland. Adding insult to injury, they also overlooked an item from our order. Remarkably, they demonstrated no inclination to extend an apology or take any steps to rectify the situation. In stark contrast, I have found Gus’s diner across the street to be significantly superior in terms of both cuisine and customer service.

Went today for a pick up order, have been to dine in a few times. Maria the waitress is amazing by the way! Tonight i went to get my order that i placed online. I am so sorry to say this but those girls at the front need a major attitude adjustment, especially the one i dealt with tonight. Why are people so rude? As much as i like the food this makes me not want to order from there again. I really hope the owner sees this and has a talk with his staff. As someone who’s family owned many restaurants and has worked in one, the front person is the first and last person your guests see, its just as important that they are polite and give service with a smile just as important as it is for the waitress/waiter and for the food! Best of luck, but I would rather drive to freehold and get my gyro there!

Ordered takeout today was very excited to try greek food. Arrived messed up the whole order gave us someone else’s and took twenty more minutes to redo it. We ordered two chicken pitas and one lamb. The chicken was big chunks and super chewy and fatty. The lamb was the same way which was horrible. Also ordered fries and calamari. Very greasy and again very disappointing! The spanakopita was the best thing we had. I’m upset that I spent seventy two dollars on a meal my whole family didn’t enjoy. I wouldn’t try my luck here again 🙁
