My family and I visited The Green Olive on Father’s day, and were thoroughly disappointed. My wife and I don’t mind sub-par food if the price matches, but the bland food served here was priced a bit high for our liking.

My wife and I visited The Green Olive today around lunchtime and we were impressed with our experience. The restaurant is under new management and they’ve made improvements, including a new menu, also new stove today! We were happy to see that the food is still as great as before. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Joe, our server, was particularly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the gyro platter and the Philly cheesesteak, both cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. We also appreciated the clean and tidy appearance of the restaurant. Overall, we continue to have a fantastic experience at The Green Olive and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in Wantage.

Since the new management, much better and consistently good. My husband and I eat here often, and we’re very pleased to have a local restaurant that we can depend on for a good meal. The current chef is doing a great job-try any of the soups, they’ve been terrific.

Came here for the first time the other night. Typically we go to the Lamppost but wanted to try something new. The ambience was nice and our server, Spirit, who greeted us when we walked in was friendly. Love the fireplace in the dining room! We were given bread and butter to start. Bread was warm the butter was an olive butter which was interesting. I would suggest that when bread is dropped that its explained that it’s olive butter and perhaps offer regular butter as well. I personally enjoyed the olive butter but know some that wouldn’t. I ordered the special Jersey Day Boat Scallops with Risotto and pomegranate drizzle. Scallops were cooked perfectly, risotto was good just was not as creamy as I’ve had but great flavor with the pomegranate. My bf just ordered the burger and he was happy with it just slightly over from medium that he ordered. Overall, we really enjoyed it and will come back to try something different!

Went here for the music to see John Stanley. He played Great tunes and we all had a great time. Some of sang along with his playing A horse with no name. There was line dancing to his music and some ordered bar food which was excellent. The white Russian was excellent prices for the drinks were modest.c
