What a fun place to eat at! We absolutely loved the decor. The food was tasty. We wish we had more fries with our burger! Also it took about 45 min for the food to come out which is pretty hard with kids but so worth the wait. Also the carrot cake was amazing!

Our first time here and we really loved it. Parking is easy with lots of on-site spaces available. We sat at the front with what use to be the front porch. We had a really nice waitress who was helpful and friendly. The menu is different in a really good way, with so many other restaurants serving the same things it was great to see so many new items that theChef worked hard on. We ordered the appetizer of 3 Chicken Sliders (delicious) and the French Onion Soup (just like the make in France) we had their Ceaser Salad with Blackened Shrimp (my husband never shared anything lol) I ordered a glass of White Wine, the glass was brilliant a very unique style and loved how chilled the wine was. Our only let down was they didn’t have any 00 Beers on their menu which many people now love, so please get some either Heineken, Budweiser or Corona none alcohol and my husband will be forever grateful.

What can I say? First time down in the Bradenton area to visit family and this was the best meal we had here. Great atmosphere and friendly service with local beer. But THE FOOD! Pimento fritters are a must to start. Meatloaf and pot pie rivals grandma’s and the flank steak flatbread was superb! Owners were kind and said hello and goodbye which was so sweet! We will be back when we come to visit Florida again 🙂

We had a nice St. Patrick’s Day dinner. Starting with crab cakes that were super tasty & filling. The Rubin sandwich was awesome! The corn beef was stacked high! The picture doesn’t do it justice. The french fries were HOT & crispy. The corn beef & cabbage was super delicious!

I really want to give 5 stars on all because this place is absolutely wonderful. The staff and service was the best I’ve been to in this entire town in the past 10 years! The atmosphere, brightness and airy feel, happy staff and customers. I had the grilled cheese which tasted divine with portobello mushrooms and Gouda cheese on sourdough bread, a side of collards, and a side of fried okra. I’m only giving 4 stars on food due to the minimal mushrooms on the sandwich and the bland fried okra. The okra was like any other restaurant in town that serve it, already breaded, frozen, then fried of which I’m not nor ever have been a fan. Southern fried okra has onions added and lightly sauteed not battered and individual. To be fair, the demographics in this area are mainly from the north and the southern food they’ve experienced was most likely from the interstate country cooking restaurant and not from a southern country girl that can cook. My overall experience was that of pleasure.

The best thing about this place is the service. The people are very kind and cheerful. Food was okay, the fries come unsalted which makes sense given most of the customers are older and may prefer to salt it themselves (salt and pepper on each table). Nice atmosphere, very well decorated and cozy.

We loved our entire experience here! Katie and Patrick are the BEST!!! We went for late lunch when they opened at 4:30 and the Ultimate grilled cheese and the chicken sandwiches are just glorious, as are the pimeto cheese fritters! We want to try every single thing on the menu, so we will definitely be back!!! Great decor too! The original 1911 floors are beautiful and the barstools are next level. Love, love, love!

Such a nice cozy place. Went with a party of 6. And everyone loved their meal. We had the meatloaf, fish & shrimp chips fried, broiled and grilled. We also had the French onion soup which i understand was very good. The chicken pop pie was also ordered and said to be very good. We started out with the crab cake appetizer. We are from MD and know our crab meat. This too was very good. Very little filler. The wait staff was great. And the women’s bathroom was a 1 seater but soooo cute.
